Didn't work.. would not download. do not waste buy.

This antivurus itself is a virus. Shut down my PC and slowed down the other one. Waste of money

Love the security options, variety of scans, file shredder, and ease of automatic updates. This software does not hinder my browsing or computer use at all. It doesn’t cause a noticeable slowdown like some of the others do. VPN seems to mess with mobile phone app usage though, so it can’t always be on on my phone.

Used to run Avast and other software on my systems but still had issues and things getting through. Read up on the great reviews on this and gave it a shot a couple of years ago. Never looked back. It protects up to 5 devices (all of mine - laptop, desktop, phone, etc.) Nothing gets through anymore. No problems since. A testament to how good this is.

Works great. Got this to keep the kid's phones protected, so the 5 device protection was just what I needed. The Best Buy price is somehow better than buying from Bitdefender directly. Definitely recommend this one and their VPN as well.

Generally nice feature set that does not impact performance too much. 1 star off because some programs have to be manually removed from firewall list

I’ve used Bitdefender for a few years now. Never had any issues with it. Was happy to see it on a great deal for the two year plan.

Been using on my home computer for 3 years now and so far so good. Used to use 360 but seems this security suite comes out ahead in independent testing along with being less intrusive. Just renewed for 2 years.

Compared to McAfee and Norton, bit defender doesnt slow my computer as much(not at all to be honest) . And it doesnt randomly block applications like others. If you can get 2yrs Total Protection 5 devices for around $35 it's a steal.

I chose this antivirus since it has good reviews. I've had a terrible experience so far with the download and installation. I wanted to download this product and put it onto an infected laptop via a USB, since I didn't want to 1. connect to the internet or 2. god forbid, have to log into any accounts in order to download things over the internet. The only way to get this product is to install it from a download link on the exact device that you need to install it on. Worst design ever for my needs. Ok, fine, I figured I would try download+install. The new Bitdefender download is colliding with the Bitdefender Free Edition already existing on the laptop, and tells me to uninstall that first, but, the Windows Programs Uninstall screen doesn't even list the Bitdefender Free Edition so I can't uninstall it. I can't install the new one without first uninstalling the free edition, which doesn't allow me to uninstall. Great. Trying to contact customer service via phone, while it's touted as 24/7, is taking forever to get ahold of someone -- it's been an hour, and counting for phone, and the chat feature now logs an 11 minute wait on a Monday afternoon.

Terrible customer service at Best Buy and Bitdefender! Don't buy it, the activation code I have received is invalid and Best Buy don't allow to cancel order and required to prove I'm not lying and after receiving proof I have to wait 48 hours for further assistance. No money no antivirus

Trash software, 0/5 do not recommend. I've had subscriptions since 2017 but will not be renewing anymore. Bitdefender was great 4 or 5 years ago when it was purely security software that ran scheduled virus scans on your computer; they were a reasonable premium on top of Windows' built-in security features because Windows 10 still had a lot of holes back then. Now Bitdefender is more Norton-esque in how annoying their advertisements (I know you can turn them off) and notifications are. They'll even stop you from connecting to public wifi networks (like at an airport, for example), and spam you with notifications about unsafe connections until you go through the clicks to actually turn Bitdefender off. And when I say spam, I mean notifications every 10 seconds that pull focus from whatever window you have open and are actually using, so you have to actually click back into whatever you were working on. Yeah, bro, I know that public airport wifi isn't the most secure connection in the world, but I still need it at the moment. And you can just close whatever you think is causing the notifications and they'll stop, right? No, the backlog of notifications continues popping up for the next 10 minutes. At some point, the company stopped worrying as much about security and more about seeming useful and selling you other products. They must have a very large marketing budget because there's nothing but glowing reviews (that they probably paid for) on tech websites if you search their name. I use to have Bitdefender on my old PC and laptop until I built a new PC. I forgot to install Bitdefender on it...but haven't missed it.

Bad product. Don’t purchase the product in the store because you have no way to make a return. These items are final sale at Best Buy, and not refundable through Bitdefender if purchased at Best Buy.

Digital download takes forever. Still waiting 2 hrs later. It’s digital! There isn’t even packaging! What’s to get ready?
