Wasn't looking for thisdvd but it was at the rite place and on sale.so i got it great find and alot of action im happy with this purchase.suprised me..now i need to get the next box set..

I was a skeptic when I heard Michael Bay was doing a Pirate show. But the cast convinced me that it was worth trying. And wow! Great scripts, stellar cast. What a fun show. Can't wait for more!

Series takes place in the year 1715 , in the " golden age of piracy ". Many interesting characters and hot models in action . Some Violence but not as splattering at 300 or sparticus series .

For starters, the case itself is awesome in shape, and really cool cover. The show has quickly become a favorite of mine. I ESPECIALLY recommend if you're a fan of pirates.

I had heard so many good things about this series and was not disappointed. However, it is a bit confusing at times and the adult themes are not appropriate for young viewers. The scenery is and the props are brilliant!!

I have been wanting to see this show since it was released. I was so happy to find both season 1 and season 2 at Best Buy. Both were reasonably priced and an excellent show to boot.

What a ride! Black Sails features a dynamic cast and is great fun. Hugely underrated show that a lot of people missed out on. It's only 4 seasons long, so binge away.

I don't subscribe to cable so getting this series on DVD was a great way to watch. Being able to follow a full season without having to wait every week made it all the more enjoyable.

What a awesome deal i was able to get this movie for on Black Friday. Best Buy always give great pricing on there products. I do not shop at any store for my DVD movies.

Good storyline, who loves who, who gets burned? That's what will be answered when you watch. The only actor I recognized is Zack McGowan from shameless seasons 1 & 2.

Starz has produced another good show! This is a good introductory season for any newcomers. The character and story move along nicely. Must watch for any pirate lovers!

This Best Buy product is outstanding just like everything else I purchase. I am a very happy satisfied customer.

It's always good to be able to purchase seasons of tv programs to watch again now if one missed viewing any individual airings.

This is a great first season. The only down side is some excess these types of cable shows indulge in. Otherwise this is a great story with great production values.

The show and the disks were great! But the digital code leaves a lot to be desired. The only two options for redeeming the digital codes were Flixster and Vudu. I am not sure why iTunes was not included but I find this very frustrating that the packaging does not clearly state what Digital content providers are supported. But I find it very frustrating that they expect me to maintain digital libraries in a myriad of different companies. To be completely honest this is the second time this has happened to me and I am getting very frustrated by it.

I don't know how fact-based this series is, but it certainly is exciting and gives a look at the pirate lifestyle. Great scenery and sets, plus fantastic acting.

I like the aspect that it was realistic, such as making repairs to the ship. There is politics between the captain, the crew and people on the land. More realistic than Pirates of the Caribbean.

Refreshingly different type of Pirate series. Definitely not Disney! More realistic and yet sexy and exhilarating. Great series, looking forward to season two.

I've only watched the first couple episodes, but the show is very good so far. It is full of action and beautiful locations, not to mention fun characters and interesting take on piracy.

This is an awesome series to get into. The series can be very graphic at times but does not hold back on how life was during this period.
