Pretty good movie that focuses on Natasha Romanov's time between the films Civil War and Infinity War in the MCU timeline. It also briefly covers her past before she joined SHIELD. This movie was released after Endgame so not much new came out of this movie except for introducing a few new characters (such as Yelena Belova and Red Guardian) that will later appear in other MCU movies. Overall, the movie was good even though it should have been released earlier before Infinity War.

When I purchased this movie I thought it would only be another one just like the rest that form part of the world of MARVEL. But was I wrong. This is the story of how sinister and ruthless a man can become when he comes in possession of a drug that can control the human brain and the will of those that fall under its influence. This movie is very enjoyable throughout its duration.

It took a few movies for me to get used to this version of Black Widow but by the time Avengers Infinity Wars, I loved her. I think Marvel made the wrong decision on what characters to end but what's done is done. So I'm very happy we finally got her stand alone movie and one last go around with Black Widow. Great movie with plenty of Marvel style action and more of Widow's back story. The 4k transfer is beautiful and worth buying.

Great action movie. Scarlett J. did an excellent job in this movie she is my favorite female Marvel character. Did not know much detail about her background so this movie expanded on her past regarding her parents and sister. This 4K Ultra Edition version comes to life, especially if you are using a Sony Bravia TV. The Dolby Atmos truly comes out and puts you in the middle of the action. Great entertainment for all the family.

My first Marvel movie on 4K Blu-ray and it looked amazing. First time seeing the film. A little skeptical because not usually a fan of prequels but Black Widow has a really good post-Civil War story for Natasha, great new supporting characters, and a fine send-off performance from Scarlett. Liked all the action scenes (although wish the ending set piece wasn't so over the top but that's kind of Marvel's thing).

Another great addition to the MCU line of movies. This tells the origins of the Black Widow and adds context to her role in the Marvel Universe beyond what was shown about her in the other films. It fills in many blanks of things mentioned in the other films and adds new ones for future movies to answer. A good amount of action and character development exist, so you should be entertained. Recommended.

Fun prequel to the genesis of the Russian Avenger! Scarlett Johannesburg gets her long overdue showcase of the Black Widow. The Avenger with no superpower or high tech equipment is certainly kickass in this role. Movie also features David Harbour as her “father” and Rachel Weisz as her “mother”. You also meet her younger sister who may become an Avenger in the future (??).

Good fight scenes. Background story helped her character.

I really liked the movie! People are starting to forget these movies are supposed to be fun, don't always have to have a big pay off or be setting up something major (Even though there is a lot of world building in this movie) it looks great in 4k and audio quality is exactly what it should be.

“Black Widow” is a intriguing story on the developing character of Natasha Romanoff and an outstanding segment in the on-going Saga of the Marvel’s complex Team of Avengers…who fight and protect mankind from worldly and galactic evildoers. This story should have been told at the beginning of the Saga…as well as all of the other Marvel characters.

This is a much anticipated movie, because I am a big fan of the Black Widow. I really feel it's much, much overdue. I thought it was well acted, but a bit too long, some of the CGI was well questionable as to choices, but a great ride and for me well worth owning, more so in 4K. And I am certainly welcoming Florence Pugh from Midsommar as an Avenger.

Good flick. Maintains Marvel quality and storyline. Packaging was as expected. Nice to see the origins of Natasha and the original intent of the widows. The unfortunate aspect of this being a precursor to Natasha's history is that after Endgame, the only way to put her back into the story line is to do sequels or reinvent the role that Scarlett Johansson has owned from the beginning. If Marvel maintains their standards, DC will never catch up.

I REALLY enjoyed how the characters interacted with each other, and how the dynamics of the family, especially (older/ younger sister) played. I felt the actors played off each other well. Well written as well. Some special effects were below the standards we've come to expect. Pay attention to the after credits scene, juuuuuust saaaaayin...

Another Marvel hit. Not sure why the movie got so much grief. Yes, it should have been released so much earlier, but that had nothing to do with the movie. It hit all the right Marvel Buttons and gave us another look at what made Natasha into a hero from an assassin. Yes, Florence Pugh stole the show. She was supposed to. Great fun.

let me make things easier, this FEELS like a copy and paste from the winter soldier....but not quite. this is more family moved. some of the content in here is a bit hard to process if you know what some of the stuff means/ stands for. everyone in here is just perfect! their acting is top notch and some of the cgi is not that bad

This is an action packed movie that fills in some gaps in the Marvel timeline for Black Widow. In the rankings of MCU movies, I would put it in the middle of the pack but that is still a good overall movie. This movie is a little more stand alone than other Marvel movies. It helps to have watched some of the others that this character was in, but mostly it is not necessary to enjoy the movie.

I enjoy the product. I just don't understand why best buy can't package things better. With the recent dwindling of floor space for physical media, i can't come to the store and buy these movies. So i have to get them shipped. Almost every single movie i have shipped, especially steelbooks, arrive with dents, scratches or damage of some sort. Very disappointing

More involved in the origins of The Black Widow, family wise, than a super hero movie, nevertheless a highly entertaining film, with great action sequences and superior sound. Helps in tying together story threads from the final two Avenger movies and the coming Disney channels Hawkeye series.

had no idea what to expect after avengers IW/EG, BP, CM & gotg2 all let me down real bad - but BW ended up greatly surpassing my expectations & is easily one of the best marvel movies ever made & one of the best movies out of any genre I've seen in quite a while

The film was done really good. The Red Guardian, the history behind Black Widow, The Red Room & the Task Master was very well put together. Excellent actors and very funny too. For some reason the Task MasterReminded me of Winter Solder. Bucky Barns.
