Coming Off the Priv, This Was a Fantastic Upgrade
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this phone now for about a month, and, as with any phone, only time will tell how durable and fast it continues to be. But just based on the time that I've owned this device, I feel confident saying that this is one of the best phones that I've ever had the chance to own. Coming off the somewhat disappointing BlackBerry Priv device, this felt like the idea of having a physical keyboard blended with the Android OS was finally realized to its fullest potential. I get fantastic battery life (I don't have to charge it every day, even with moderate use), the keyboard is incredible, and the camera takes some solid photos. Best of all, you get a fast, responsive and sexy smartphone device for a great price. Don't spend thousands of dollars to get the new iPhone — you're gonna have to replace it again in two years or less (just like every phone you buy). I dared to be different by choosing this phone, and I'm so glad that I did.

Upgrade Living up to Expectations
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I never do reviews, but I felt this might help others if they are looking for a great new smartphone at a respectable price. 6 months ago I decided to quit the apple iphone. Tired of the locked down system, poor battery performance, SMS texting issues and constant retyping of email and texts on the touch screen. Switched to the Blackberry Priv with Verizon last fall. Better battery performance, open Android OS, and faster typing on the keyboard. The phone met my expectations for the most part, however, I continue to desire faster processing and still greater battery performance. Ordered the new Blackberry Keyone (CDMA Verizon) unlocked version from BestBuy. Got it last night. I can say today, so far I am extremely pleased. Phone was working by just switching the sim cards. Blackberry content transfer moved my data efficiently. After a full work day of use, the battery performance is at 76% when my Priv would have been below 50%, and my iPhone would have been dead and recharging. I use some mobility apps for my work that drain the battery faster than most. The performance is what I expected. Ran tests on the same network against Samsung 8+ and the outcome was almost the same. Just slightly slower. Given the price difference of $250. I can live with a second or two difference. Office Apps seem to open the as fast on the Blackberry Keyone as they did on the Samsung S8+. All apps are working well with Android Nougat. The keyboard is great, the fingerprint sensor works well, decided to even try the Blackberry hub and so far I like it. At this point, I would recommend the upgrade. If you want a secure business phone with great battery and performance, that you can actually type on, you will appreciate the new Keyone. Another note to add is the fact the phone connected well with my GM car bluetooth as well as android auto. No issues. If something changes in the future I will update my review.

fantastic phone - OK OS
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My device is outstanding. It feels good in my hands, the reception, battery life, camera, sound, and physical controls are outstanding. I am very comforted to have the BlackBerry DTEK software, because I am having to download an app for everything. I guess I did not appreciate how much BlackBerry OS 10 did well. Now I miss it.

AWESOME PHONE
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been a bb user since the early 2000s and I must say they out did themselves this time. At first it took me a little to get use to the android system coming from BB10. But again I'm starting to get the hang of it now. The hub is very similar and the keyboard is dead on. Very easy to move from email to web and back. This is a tool to get WORK done and not play games on like some of those silly child phones out there now. Hey they put money sign on the keyboard for a reason :) :) . APLUS blackberry APLUS oh I forgot to mention I don't think this battery dies.

Great Price...Great Phone!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was by far my best phone purchase at $400. I am not a fan of Blackberry, but I love the keyboard and shortcuts and spacebar fingerprint scanner and super fast and...well you get the idea! Battery lasts for 2 full days with normal usage, and the ANDROID OS will run any app seamlessly. The aluminum frame and textured soft backing make the phone very comfortable and it has a nice weight to it. Can't wait to see what the updated KeyTwo has to offer.

Welcome back blackberry, welcome
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Can I just say, boy did I miss BlackBerry. BBM and the ease of email is second to none. Physical keyboard is a plus and having android makes apps accessible. This is coming from some that has used several iPhones for the past seven years!

Love BlackBerry Keyone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Coming from the PRIV which always overheated and battery life sucked. Keyone is a great phone. This is a phone for grown folks who do not have the desire or time to play video games all day long. Now you will get a few sides eyes and even some laughs from people that did realize BlackBerry was still around- But I don't care. I've never been a person to follow the crowd. I always danced to my own beat. I have had iPhone, droids and window phones and nothing compares to this one. So far no problems with this phone. BlackBerry for life!!! Highly recommended O yes this phone is quite sleek and sexy!!! Remembered adults need only apply...

KeyOne is a great phone with best keyboard ever!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best Android 7.1.1 Nougat Phone with a physical keyboard on a smartphone. It is a great improvement on previous blackberries which only ran Blackberry OS. The keyboard is excellent for typing on. It is an Android phone and can use any Android app from the Google Play Store, but it also includes the Blackberry software with the old BBM etc. In addition to the physical keyboard, it is possible to have the virtual keyboard displayed so that there's always a choice. The display is crystal clear, and the Android build is very solid. Audio is decent quality, and the camera takes awesome pics. Wi-fi works well, and reception is good for voice phone call quality. It ig great for playing videos and streaming to a tv. Vibrate is very strong indeed. Opening too many applications does often result in a memory warning in which case you will need to close apps and restart the phone. That is the one flaw that I have found, perhaps I need to add a memory card. Here is a hidden feature I found, if you run your fingers over the keyboard in a vertical motion from top to bottom, you can scroll up and down on a webpage!

Excellent phone!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first blackberry phone, and I love it! The keyboard is excellent! My job requires typing, and this phone is great for that. Some of the great features include, an up swipe on the keyboard to auto-complete words, backwards swipe the delete entire words, and controlling the typing cursor by double tapping the keyboard. The keyboard also acts as shortcuts, which are easy to set up and use. The screen looks great and the battery life is excellent. When all of the other smartphones look and act the same, this one will stand out.

Excellent phone, a modern Blackberry, at last!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent smarter phone. Different! The keyboard is exactly right for me. I have used other android smart phones and hated the screens and "keyboard". This has a sharp screen, great camera, Anddroid OS, and the programmable keyboard is fast and easy to use, just what I've been looking for. The battery lasts for days, not hours, and it has an expandable memory. I am very pleased with this phone, obviously, and the salesperson at the phone store said "Oh! I like this phone!"

Blackberry Keyone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great phone. Slightly larger than the Blackberry classic it replaces, but still has the physical keyboard, which is a Blackberry tradition, and required by anyone that wants a real work horse of a phone. The battery life is phenomenal. You can charge it on Monday, and still be using it on Wednesday without a recharge. Great if you are in the field a lot like I am. For a secure work phone, it can't be beat.

Great phone! Solid, fast, sophisticated.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What a pleasure to use this outstanding new phone from BlackBerry. It has the real keyboard and enhanced security that set Blackberries apart, but also outperforms its predecessors and competitors in accuracy and speed. The battery charges quickly and holds its charge longer than any phone I've had, including the iPhone I have for work, which is crude and clunky in comparison. As one of many examples I can type, Swype or voice text more quickly quickly and accurately than anyone else by using this phone. I waited a few weeks after buying it to write this review just to be sure the phone lived up to the hype. It has exceeded my high expectations. Thank you, Blackberry, for this advanced phone for grown ups. Bravo!

BLACKBERRY KEYONE
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm a loyal Blackberry user...I really like having a hard keyboard to type on. I am getting used to the Android operating system, which is a little confusing, but overall, I like the features. I got a tempered glass screen protector for it, a flexible case and a simple magnetic mount for the car. I'm set.

JUNK
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This cell phone is a piece of junk. I've owned it since August of 2017. This phone is slow and underperforming. It has only brought me frustration and outright anger. In order the maintain substandard performance, is must be factory reset every couple of months or so. But, even then, the constant freezing, "not responding" messages, and quickly diminishing battery capacity made this phone a major headache. The keyboard has uneven backlighting, and after nine months, the spacebar needed to be pressed very hard in order to work. The BlackBerry emblem stickers eventually peeled off. The Gorilla Glass screen became scratched. It was impossible to find a decent case, because I'm pretty sure only about twenty people bought this phone. Before this, I owned an iPhone 6 for three years (and the person that bought that from me is still using it). Before that, I owned an iPhone 4 for five years. Just yesterday, I dropped my BlackBerry and the "military grade" screen cracked. But it still seemed to (kind of) work. So I threw it against the pavement to ensure it was completely dead. And it is. Thank God! I lost all of my vacation photos, and I don't even care - the curse is over!

Love it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.l like it more than any cell phone I've ever had. Excellent merging of Blackberry & Android -- I had some doubts. I was wrong. Fantastic keyboard. Feels like a Blackberry. Wonderful rubberized back of case. 2-day battery (no kidding). Couldn't be more pleased.
