I would not say its great or bad, i think the effectiveness is all dependent on the type of ear wax one has. If you have the waxy gewy kind, this may not be very effective. If you have the flaky kind, it will clear some out. How does it feel? It feel strange at first but once you get comfortable with it, it will start to feel comfortable. Also a side effect that is not mentioned, some of us feel a bit woosy, not major but kind of like just getting off of the spinning tea cup ride at Disney. You kind of have to give it a try for yourself.

Good product but two issues.. 1) doesn't get as deep as I hoped. 2) have to thoroughly dry ears afterwards or ears will get clogged.
