Very slow movie, but a good story with stunning visuals if you have the patience for it. The 4K transfer itself is excellent with great picture & atmos track.

The movie came fine however the packaging was just a cardboard mailer which could have easily been bent. There was no damage to mine but i have heard plenty of stories of ppl packages being damages from being delivered this way.

Great job remastering this original from 1982. Picture and sound were very well done considering the time period. Storyline, music and overall theme were not for me though. Very dark theme, no comedic breakpoints and just a very serious depressing tone throughout the movie. This may be your deal though and if you like those type of movies I would recommend. Just a very depressing themed movie.

HDR gives Blade Runner a better image than the previous HD releases, however limitations of the source film are apparent. Film grain varies a lot, sometimes less sometimes too much, not sure if that's due to selective use of noise reduction or due to the extra clarity of 4K/HDR. My disc freezes and stutters at two points during the movie, but the disc does not appear to be physically damaged. I'm using an Oppo UDP-203 so it's not a "cheap" player. I'd like to exchange the disc and try another but none are available in my area.

Definitely one of the best movies of the 80's. Way ahead of its time and worth owning. Got this one because I only owned the theatrical release and wanted to see what the fuzz was all about. Just more scenes on it and it doesn't change anything of the overall story. There are mentions on here that, if you are willing to believe the speculations, would tie this movie in as a prequel to the Alien universe.

Decided to give it a watch after so many praise the movie as a "critically acclaim" piece of art. It is indeed more art than entertainment cinema with many zoomed out long shots of b-roll footage. Some can see this as boring while others can appreciate the shots as inviting atomospheric intrigue. Overall, im glad i gave it a shot and understood what gave this movie its fame but personally it wasn't for me.

I watched this movie to prepare to see the new Blade Runner 2049 that's out in theaters now. This movie is very slow paced but has a lot of great visual enjoyment. (If you like futuristic city-scapes and flying cars). Overall, I don't think I would watch it again, but I'm glad I watched it once so that I'm ready to see the sequel.

I enjoyed the film work in this movie, which saved it to some degree. I like looking at the technique and style that goes into a movie, and Bladerunner met that interest for me. However, the storyline I found to be rather vague and under explained. As far as story goes I would give this a 1 star, but the film work helped.

Even though Harrison Ford played in this movie, the movie itself is very boring, pretentious, weird as if the director had tried to experiment with costumes, slow speech and acting, and rainy weather. The actors behave in the most strange and weird way, and there is no single day with sunshine.

I watch this movie years ago when I was young and was not impressed back then. Recently there is a new sequal called Bladerunner 2049 and some critics call the original Balderunner as one of the best film ever made. Well I watch it again and am still not impressed.

Bought this on Blu-ray for 7 dollars, wanted to get the back story on the first movie before I saw the new blade runner. Good visual effects for 1982 but confusing to follow at times, eventually it made sense.

Couldn’t find it to watch online and wanted to see it before 2049 sequel. Not as good as had hoped

Forever a classic - yes but I really wanted more from the Blu-Ray. I'm not sure if there was more they could have done in crafting the Blu-Ray or if Hi-Def Bladerunner is only "that good" on 4K. Clarity aside, the movie it great.

This second installment takes us one step beyond where a clone was able to breed offspring when it was said to be impossible.

It’s alwats great to see a classic again. The cost for the upgrade to 4k is not worth it. Remastered picture can’t keep up with today’s technology. Stick with Blu-ray.

Movie was a bit of a let down, for a SciFi classic. The quality of the video and sound make it a bearable watch, but for me a little bit of a let down.

Overall it is a good movie, but the length of time it took for the story seemed like it lasted longer than it needed to. Almost a 3 hour movie.
