Good horse power. Very powerful and efficient blender. A bit noisy and this is the main reason I did not give 5 stars.

I didn't realize that you could blend a smoothie without stirring 10 times! This blender is without a doubt the best blender I have ever used. It has a very simple interface and blends a perfect smoothie in 45 seconds. I no longer have to sit there frustrated while all of my ingredients sit there at the top not blending!

I absolutely love this blender. I use it to blend everything! The price point is a bit much but when you see that you can literally blend everything in there without having an issue, you wont mind the price.

My last 2 blenders worked OK for 1-2 years and then quickly dropped off in performance. I decided to spend a little more a get a high quality one. Based on reviews from friends and on-line I decided on the Blendtec. My first smoothie which normally took about 30 seconds before takes less than 10 with this and it is at medium speed. The square bowl makes it easier to pour and it is infinitely easier to clean than either of the other two I have owned.

Although expensive, it was on sale when I purchased. Works great

This blender was decided due to others I have used not being able to crush through frozen fruit and vegetables. Yes, this item is expensive but the motor and self cleaning features and strength in blending make it a must.

This blender is by far the best one money can buy.

This blender does everything you could want it to do including liquifying leafy greens however I if I were to do it again, I would choose to upgrade it for the extra 100 bucks. I say the preset options(especially for soups) are worth it because over the course of at least the 8 years its guarenteed for it cost less than 10 cents a day

Has a lot of power and has been very reliable. I use it mostly for smoothies and protein shakes a few times a week. I also really like the pitcher, it's very easy to clean.

I love this blender so much! The blade is not sharp so you won't hurt your finger when trying to clean it. And the smoothie it made is really good.

If want a blender for lots of uses, perfect choice!! Would highly recommend for those that use blenders 3-5 times a week. Chops everything!

In my transition to becoming vegan I wanted a multipurpose blender with longevity and this blender is just that. I make smoothies daily and the best part besides the smooth consistency of WHATEVER I put in it is the clean up! It's a 3 piece blessing. It barely has to be washed after being rinsed. I also use it for preparing meals, it's been a great tool in the kitchen. It was pricey for my taste but.....hey.

This blender packs a punch...the first time I used it, I thought it was going to jump right off the counter! I needed to get used to the speed. I considered getting the Ninja Mega, which is $100 cheaper, but I chose the Blendtec because of its blade. The blade in the Blendtec is not sharp like other blenders, which makes it less dangerous when cleaning this blender. It has a self-cleaning feature, which I love. All you do is put a few drops of dish soap and fill it up halfway with water, put it back on the base, then press the “clean” button (which is the button that has a picture of a soapy drop). Makes cleaning way easy! I like that you can make soup right in the blender too. I mainly use it for smoothies and to make snow cones for the kids. This blender turns ice cubes into snow in a matter of seconds! The best part is that the warranty is something like 7 or 10 years, which is way longer than the usual one year warranty on majority of the blenders on the market.
