I recently purchased this kit for my neighbor as she was wanting to keep an eye on her back door / parking lot. She asked me before purchasing whether or not there was a monthly fee of which I told her there wasn't because I have had blink for almost 2 years without any sort of monthly commitment. Well I guess that is all changed now. The greedy company Amazon is requiring a subscription if you want to be able to record and save any of the video footage. Shame on them. Will not recommend them anymore for any other camera needs

Only aspect that wasn't optimal was that I didn't want to drill the connector portion into a wall. We have stucco and I instead tried industrial double sided tape to secure it but that failed at first attempt.

I can set the cameras about 100 feet away from the sync module and still receive signal. Motion alerts come to phone in seconds. Lots of options in the phone app so I suggest looking at those. Very easy to setup and configure.
