You can adjust the settings on how sensitive you want it to be from noise and movement. I honestly wish it could record all the time. The camera quality is good, but it doesn't capture car's plate numbers well. The reason why I bought this camera is because somebody hit my car at night. Atleast I will be able to know who it was.
