They don’t work for you if you want to hide cameras, they’re too big to hide and not good if you want to move them around because they have a very short cables. They’re not wireless! Plus for some reasons the app didn’t work. I was never able to make them work. So I returned them.

For future reference or for other customers experiencing similar issues, the most common setup problems with the Blink Mini 2 typically involve Wi-Fi connectivity—ensuring the camera is within range of your router, verifying you're connecting to a 2.4 GHz network (as the Mini 2 doesn't support 5 GHz), confirming your Wi-Fi password is entered correctly, and making sure your Blink app is updated to the latest version. Additionally, restarting both your router and the camera by unplugging them for 30 seconds can often resolve pairing issues. I appreciate you sharing your experience!

Camera quality is ok, video seemed to be somewhat inefficiently encoded, a lot of compression artifacts even at the highest bitrate.

If your Blink Mini 2 is experiencing bad audio, it could be due to several factors including poor Wi-Fi connection, incorrect camera placement, interference from other devices, a faulty microphone, or simply needing to adjust the speaker volume within the app settings; try checking your network strength, repositioning the camera to avoid obstacles and reflective surfaces, and adjusting the audio settings in the Blink app to troubleshoot the issue.
From there, avoid placing the camera near hard surfaces like walls or tables that can reflect sound, causing echo! We are happy to help with this issue or any other questions you may have. Blink customer support can be reached at 1-833-392-5465.

I even tested it by standing on my walkway, walked up 2 steps and stood by my front door. Not one notification. I asked my neighbor to repeat what I described above. Nothing. 5 hours later, I got notification about movement. Blank clips, nothing to see
