Blink is very easy to install using a downloaded app. Also very easy to add units later. Can have multiple cameras at multiple locations using same app. Notifications are clear and dependable. Multiple adjustments possible for each camera using the app to tailor capability as you wish. Each camera Runs on two AA batteries that last for months under normal use. Indoor/outdoor rated. Replaced a very expensive Canary system that stopped working after about a year. Waste of money and no customer service help! Very happy with the Blink system.

These cameras are able to show all of my property and the audio is very clear. The picture is clear during daytime and nighttime hours.

This is not hard to set up and monitors my house perfectly. Every movement is detected but the sensibility can be adjusted

Theyre definitely capable of provising good, clear video but have a tendency to drop offline - it seems like static DHCP reservations may help. IR for night vision is very powerful but detects motion when there is none. When viewing the clip, it looks like billowong smoke. But theres nothing there.

I have a msg of overuse of one camera , don't know how to reduce usage, otherwise very satisfied, even though I receive emails for a lesser price. J Hoover 5-7-2021.

If you want any movement sensitivity at all, you will NOT get 2 years from the batteries. I had mine set on 6 out of 10 and they lasted one month. Even at that, someone could be walking all the way up the driveway and the camera will not start till they are right in front of it. Mine is set to stop recording when the motion ends also. If you don’t mind spending a lot on batteries, it would probably be good for you. I went this route cause I wasn’t sure I could install them otherwise. One of mine was also very difficult to snap on the base, especially when you’re up on a ladder.

Easy to activate and use! Only issue are the mounting. They are hard to push in, you have to use some force. I have bought more and the magnet mounts which work amazingly.

Almost one month in. Set up was easy, downloading app, connecting to Alexa, etc. HOWEVER, BLINK really needs to rethink those cheap plastic pop-in hangers.... they stink. That was the worst of the install. Being on a ladder and having to apply pressure enough to pop it in without breaking it. Poor engineering. I still give it 5 stars because the cameras do what they should do. They have survived a month of monsoon rains, and I did go ahead and purchase silicon sleeves about a week after install just to attempt to stay ahead of the weather we have here.
