Pretty simple to set up

There is no sd card capability inside them & you have to buy a separate module to even save your video unless you subscribe to one of their plans. The modules lose connection multiple times a week and sometimes just stop working completely, with no help from Amazon or Best Buy after 15 days. So keep looking if you are in the market for a real security camera setup.

Posted .Hello, Tazman812. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review on the Blink Outdoor 4 wireless security system. I am sorry to hear about the issue you are experiencing and have some recommendations to try and help with the module losing connection. I first recommend checking your Wi-Fi signal strength where the module is located and moving the device to where it has the best connection. Power cycle your Sync Module by unplugging it for 30 seconds and plugging it back in. Power cycle your camera by removing the batteries for five seconds, then reinserting them. Check the battery level and replace them if needed. Check the signal strength between the Sync Module and the Outdoor 4 camera. They were easy to install and set up. The only thing I wish for was less of a delay when opening the app to view the notifications as they alert. We added on a doorbell as well. Overall this set does the trick for what we needed.

I was looking at some security companies and their products were extremely high. I was recommended this brand and was really happy because the price is reasonable and it’s easy to install and so far the quality is holding up.
