Good option for wireless security cameras.

Fairly easy to install and setup. Picture quality is good. Ability to record on USB drive is nice. Cloud storage is a good value for multiple cameras. Only drawback is they are motion activated and can only be seen in the app one camera at a time. My old hardwired system was always on. But that would drain these battery powered cameras quickly. Even with the extra battery pack.

While the field of view is wider there is a tradeoff in that while the field is wider everything in the field of view is significantly smaller than with the previous version of the camera. But the big disappointment was the the range (distance) the cameras operate from the sync module. I replaced an older model camera with the gen 4 and it would not operate in the in the same location. I tried the second camera to eliminate the possibility that the first camera was defective but had the same results. I tried a different sync module but still the camera didn't work. I put the older model camera back in its place and it has worked like a charm. I placed the new gen 4 cameras in locations situated closer to the sync module and they work fine there. In summary I like the previous model camera better. Most of the wider field of view only gives you distorted edges. And the distance which they operate from the sync module is decreased.

The reason i bought this is because there are no wires or cords that have to be plugged into an outlet. My kittens like to bite on wires, so when I discovered this camera I knew it would be perfect. I am currently using them to watch what my 5 kittens are doing while I’m at work all day. You have to get the Blink app and it’s simple to connect the camera to it. Then you can watch what goes on from your phone. I highly recommend this product. 5 stars.

Posted .Hello Sgomez! I thank you for taking the time to provide your review and feedback of your Blink cameras. I am unsure why your cameras are not working with your Echo Shows as they should be compatible. You need to have your Blink and Alexa accounts linked. You can do this through the Alexa smartphone app by searching for devices or by tapping the plus sign in the top corner of the home screen. Here you will then add cameras and select Blink as the brand name. You will have to log in with your Blink account and make sure that your Blink and Amazon accounts are the same ones you are using with your cameras and Shows. If you have any trouble in the setup process of this linking of accounts, please feel free to reach out to Amazon Customer Support at 888.280.4331 to troubleshoot further. Both your Echo Shows and Blink cameras are Amazon brands so they should be fully compatible. I hope this gets you the assistance you need to resolve your issues and that you have a great day!

Initial cost for cameras was very affordable. The best features come with a yearly subscription plan though, but the first month is free.
