Add a bright security light that lights up a large area of my side yard and so far the batteries seem to be holding uo well ( going on 3 1/2 weeks ) and it shows as near full still.

They work sometimes and sometimes they don’t. Call tech support and all they know is to tell you to reset them. Keep looking for better options.

Posted .Hello Btbt! I am so sorry that you are having trouble with the batteries on your Floodlight Mount. I am assuming that you are specifically talking about the D batteries for the mount itself and not the camera as that is a separate device from this. If your D batteries are already showing low battery, then you can check a few things with your settings. If you go to the settings of your Floodlight in the Blink app (the 3 dots located in the bottom right of your thumbnail image), then go to Device Settings, Lighting Settings, and then adjust to save on battery. You can lower the Timeout after Motion Activation, Light Brightness, and make sure that Daylight Mode is toggled off. All of these should help increase battery life. The battery can last anywhere from 1-2 years at default settings so if your battery life is showing low, then I would recommend contacting Blink Customer Support at 833.392.5465 for further troubleshooting and to explore options available to you. At day 13 had to have unexpected surgery and was unable to contact them until day 18. They will not help or price match. I should have received more than $200 price match difference for their own sale but they will not honor. Will never shop them again.
