The Blink Video Doorbell and Sync Module are pretty slick. Mounting hardware is included in the box. If you live in an apartment like me and don’t want to put holes in walls or door frames, no mounting tape is included. I picked up some double-sided tape on the cheap and it has worked great thus far. Once mounted, the camera can be connected to existing doorbell wiring and make your home chime go off, or it can be connected wirelessly to your home WiFi network. It runs off of two AA batteries that can allegedly last up to two years. I honestly doubt this. Once paired in the Blink App, you will receive a push notification when the doorbell is pressed. The camera will also take a video of who is/ was at your door. Two way audio is available in the app if you need to speak to the person at your door. You can set the camera to detect motion and record video clips between 5 and 30 seconds in length. This is a great feature for when you aren’t home.
Video quality is honestly pretty good. I can make out faces and audio clearly. Keep in mind what I said previously though. I live in an apartment. This means the camera is in an environment with consistent lighting/ no wind conditions. I’ve seen other reviews mention that the camera struggles with direct sunlight, so be cautious in that regard. Positioning may be important.
A couple other things I would like to note about the camera. Getting the back cover on is a bit of a challenge. You have to push very hard and slip it over a single clip at the bottom. This does make it very secure once it’s on, but be patient with it. Maybe look up a video if you’re struggling. I also wasn’t able to find much information on what weather conditions this thing can withstand. Obviously doorbells go on the exterior of homes, but does that automatically mean it’s water resistant or waterproof? There is a silicone seal on the back cover so I’m going to assume it’s at least water resistant. I also haven’t been able to find much info on ideal operating temperature. I live in the Midwest and am a little concerned about the freezing months. Not an issue now, but could be once I am actually living in a house. TBD.
Amazon’s Blink products have made home security products accessible. Hardware is reasonably priced and quality is good overall. The Blink App is free to download and a monthly fee is not required to see a live view of your cameras. However, if you’d like recordings saved to the cloud, you can purchase a storage plan. Check Amazon for what plans are available and pricing. Keep in mind you will need an Amazon account for these subscription services. The Sync Module can communicate with your cameras and has a USB-A port which allows for local storage of recordings. I don’t believe a subscription is required to store videos locally. The app itself is easy to navigate and allows you to check in on your cameras from anywhere in the world, so long as you have an internet connection. Other Amazon products with screens (i.e. Echo Show) can be used to display live feeds. Portal devices that are connected to your Amazon account are also compatible.
At this price point, I think the Blink Doorbell Camera is a great buy, especially if you’re already a part of the Amazon ecosystem. Just keep what I mentioned above in mind.

This item is crap. It does not work if you don’t have the subscription. If you don’t have cloud storage, then you can’t watch your live videos and record them at the same time. This product is basically useless if you don’t have a subscription.

The Blink video doorbell is my second camera enabled smart doorbell, but my first from this brand. Since we already use mostly Amazon devices, integrating the Blink video doorbell into our smart home ecosphere was easy and straightforward. The Blink app needs to be downloaded and installed to a mobile device in order to set up both the doorbell and the included Sync module 2. In the app, instructions for physical installation are simple to follow with animated graphics and clear instructions. The doorbell comes with an angled wedge plate if you need to change the direction the camera faces, and you can customize the experience to your exact setup via the prompts that appear. For example, we wanted to use this doorbell with our existing doorbell chime and wiring, which we were able to do by first confirming compatibility of our doorbell transformer, then removing our manual doorbell button and connecting the Blink’s mounting plate to the wires.
Once we attached the Blink doorbell to the mounting plate, it had permanent power, as well as the two AA 1.5V Lithium batteries (included) in the housing as backup power. Note that it doesn’t have an internal rechargeable battery, and Blink recommends against using any type of rechargeable battery or even Alkaline batteries with the device. However, when used with a Sync module, the batteries are supposed to last up to 2 years (w/avg use 70 seconds per day), even without being permanently wired. When the batteries need changing, the release tool makes it easy to separate the camera from the mounting plate to do so.
The only part of the setup that didn’t work perfectly for me was setting up the “length of ring” for our electronic chime, which plays a number of different melodies that we select on the chime box. Although we were able to set the length of the chime in 0.5 second intervals, we still got a weird clipped beep after the conclusion of the chime melody every time, no matter what length was set. This likely has to do with the fact that our chime box says that a “diode” is required for installation, which we had installed on the manual doorbell button and is usually what allows the chime to play through exactly once, but installing the diode with the Blink video doorbell is not possible, and the app setting is the equivalent but imperfect workaround.
In the Blink app, you can access the live view of the camera, change its settings, and review past recordings. I like that you can adjust the camera’s motion sensitivity, define activity/privacy zones, and customize which notifications the app sends you, to reduce nuisance pop-ups. One thing about the motion detection feature is that it is very basic and doesn’t distinguish between a person, package, animal, or car. Also, motion detection recording and announcements are only active if the device is in the “armed” state, but doorbell presses are always recorded regardless if it is armed or not. You can also set the camera to automatically save the footage any time you access ‘Live’ view. With photo capture enabled, the camera takes one photo every hour and saves it as a collection of photos in the Clip Roll.
Linking the Blink app to Alexa lets you use voice commands to display the camera feed to and play announcements through your Echo devices. However, since you cannot view the Blink camera’s video feed in the Alexa smartphone or PC app, you must have an Echo show or use the Blink app for remote monitoring. Once we had our Blink and Amazon accounts linked, we were able to enable voice announcements and select a chime sound to play through all the Echo speakers in our home when the doorbell button is pressed, in addition to our wired chime and notifications from the Blink app. It also plays a chime through the doorbell's built-in speaker for the person who pressed it, to let them know that it actually did something.
We signed up for the Blink monthly subscription Plus plan (free for the first 30 days), which gives us unlimited live view recording and photo capture and cloud storage/access to recorded footage from the doorbell camera within the previous 60 days. If you don’t want to have a monthly cloud subscription, the Sync 2 module allows you to store video and photos locally to a USB thumb drive plugged directly into the Sync 2 module (from 1 GB up to 256 GB) and can connect to up to 10 different Blink cameras. Just note that the recordings do not automatically loop and write over the oldest footage, and you must disconnect and download or delete the files when the drive is full. With a monthly subscription, the module backs up the footage from the cloud once per day rather than immediately saving them to the thumb drive.
The video footage from the camera is 1080p HD (1920x1080) when set to “best quality” and very crisp and clear but somewhat distorted with a fisheye effect, due to the 135° horizontal, 80° vertical, wide-angle field of view. When a person is standing at your door (~6 ft tall), you should be able to see them from the waist up when they are standing about 2 feet away from the camera. At night, the night vision infrared footage is ok for illuminating people in front of the doorbell, but if you have a light source in the background, the IR will wash out that area even when set to low IR Intensity; for example, we have LED string lights in a tree on our patio about 8 feet from the camera that aren’t even that bright but in the nighttime video they look like a floodlight. The sound quality from the doorbell is fine, and I didn’t have any trouble hearing or understanding conversation via the app to the doorbell and vice versa, though the audio picked up in the video recording from the doorbell’s mic tends to have a lot of digital compression noise. The speaker volume on the doorbell is loud and clear and is adjustable as well.
Overall, I think the video and audio quality of the Blink doorbell camera is decent, and the doorbell integrates easily with other Amazon Alexa smart devices. We get notifications on our phones, smart speakers, and can still use our existing door chime, albeit with a slight quirk. The setup and installation was quick and simple, and it can be used both wired with permanent power or wirelessly with long lasting battery life. The ability to store video files locally with the Sync module 2 is great if you don’t want a monthly subscription or just want to have automatic backups.

SImple, Effective Video Doorbell

I've been trying to find the best Video doorbell for years, probably installed and tried 12-15. I've been a Blink (outdoor) camera user for about 5 years. I like the quality of their products, I've gotten 18-24mo battery life from their cameras. I've never understood why they stayed out of the doorbell market. Their cameras offer a great method to select areas to look for motion, this lack of masking has been the one of the biggest problem with most video doorbells I've tried. Picking up motion well away from the door, causes way too many false alarms. Blink's masking works great, the scheduling works great, their low light camera is excellent. Their software has improved year after year. All told this new camera is supported by a set of well made software applications. Many other video doorbells I've tried fail in there software implementations.
Well, installation, was a breeze, I added a new sync sync module, to the 4 others I have. I did this so that it could be put on a separate schedule from my my other cameras. I mounted this camera on my back door, I have another camera covering the yard area. I want this primarily for expected quests and yard workers, not really for night time use. I mounted the plastic bracket directly to my door (I wish this were metal). It has small teeth that lock the video doorbell in place, with a "key" to release it. This battery operated doorlbell can also be powered by you door bell power supply, I did not try this, as I did not have doorbell power to my back door. But given my prior experience with Blink cameras I expect to get close to two years of battery life out of the supplied lithium batteries. The video door bell snapped firmly to the mounting bracket, sealed by a silicon seal. So it's waterproof (another problem I've has with other video doorbells). Not a problem on my back door, but just to test it, I sprayed it with my hose for a few seconds, no problems - good to know. When you press the doorbell button the surround illuminates blue and it makes a classic doorbell sound. You know it's working (another thing done right).
Everything works like it should! I get a notification on my (iPhone) in about 1 second, which is excellent. The two way voice is loud and clear, I have an electronic lock on my back door that I can unlock remotely. So I can not let a friend or worker in my back door easily. Excellent. I set up a mask so only directly in front of the door detects motion. This is an excellent product for the price, or as I call it a keeper. The only feature this doorbell lacks is facial/person/animal recognition, but building AI would certainly add to the cost (and decrease battery life), but I could certainly see them offering and additional high end version with AI in the future.
The install kit includes a angled mounting bracket, which is frequently necessary if mounting to the side of your door. This is one of the best, most complete, entry level video doorbells on the market. Except for the plastic mounting bracket they got just about everything right!.

Overall: It’s quick to install and easy to use. Video is clear. The app integrates nicely with Amazon, but no auto-LiveView.
The video was very clear in all lighting conditions. It provides a wide 180° view so you can see everyone nearby. Video is available on demand. A short recording will automatically occur when there is motion detected or when the doorbell button is pressed. The motion detection works fairly well. I saw some packages being delivered as well as myself picking them up from the front door. Notifications were very timely, both for motion detection and when someone rings the bell. When live streaming, you can have a conversation with people at the door. Motion detection has been activated when cars pass my house on the street. If desired, the app will let you select sections of the screen which can be ignored. This helps if you’re on a busier streete and only want to see folks as they’re near your door. Since I live on a court, the cars passing aren’t much of an issue.
The integration with Amazon Alexa is fairly easy to use. I was able to set up a routine where all my Echo devices now announce when someone is waiting at the door. It’s helpful when I’m in the basement or upstairs and don’t necessarily realize the doorbell was pressed. I even set it up to pause the TV! Live view will work with Echo Show devices, but I couldn’t get it to display automatically, only once I’d asked the device to see. The live view came up fairly quickly based on the voice command.
Out-of-the-box, installation was very straightforward. Since I have a non-digital wired doorbell, all I had to do was unscrew the existing doorbell, disconnect the wires, connect the wires to the Blink mounting plate, screw it down, snap on the Blink doorbell. The app helps you connect the doorbell to your network. I got the kit with the synch module and that helped extend my router connection through the door. The kit comes with AA batteries which help in the set up as well as keep the power level steady. Blink claims the batteries will last ~ 2 years with the camera wired to an existing doorbell.
The doorbell is only slightly larger than what it replaced, but includes a high-resolution camera and status lights. It’s all black design stands out a little bit, but that adds a little security as folks know they may be recorded. When you press the button it will (optionally) repeat the sound of your interior doorbell to confirm to your visitor that you’ve heard them.
Like most companies in this area, Blink has a subscription option. There’s no local storage in the doorbell, but you can add a USB drive to the synch module for saved video without paying $3 / month. Compared to cloud storage, Blink delays playing back locally stored clips. I assume this is to encourage subscriptions. Other than this wrinkle, it’s a solid product that can easily earn a spot in your home automation and security set up.

Amazon has done it again. They have created a Doorbell with all the bells and whistles at an affordable price. The Blink Video Doorbell + Sync Module 2 can be used anywhere. This doorbell can be wired using your existing wiring for your old doorbell or can run on batteries. Now, Blink an Amazon company, claims that depending on your settings the batteries can last up to 2 years, and if that is true that is pretty amazing. The ability to use this doorbell on batteries is a great option and allows you to use this anywhere such as your RV’s, and back doors. The Doorbell features a 1080p HD day and night camera, plus two-way audio, and chime alert. The unit can be linked up with Amazon Alexa, unfortunately I have a google system setup, so I was not able to test out that feature, for in home notifications and Alexa can alert you when someone is at your door.
If you have read my other doorbell reviews, you know that I hate subscription services for doorbells and I am glad that Blink gave us the option to save the video and notifications locally using the Blink Sync Module 2. You will need a USB storage which is not included, but that can be used to save your videos and notifications for later. You also have the option to sign up for the cloud service if you like but in my opinion that is a waste of money, and I would rather get the sync module combo and use that instead.
The setup process for the doorbell is very simple. You will need to download the Blink app and create an account. Once you have done that you need to press the “+” button on the top right corner of the app and the setup process will guide you through the rest of the process and the same applies to both the doorbell and the sync module because you will have to add them both separately.
In the box you will receive everything you will need to setup the doorbell.
1 Doorbell
1 Sync Module 2
2 AA batteries
1 Corner Mount
1 USB Cable
1 Power adapter
1 Case opening tool
Overall, I could not find anything that I was not happy with about this doorbell. From the price to the picture quality, no subscription fees, local storage options, battery life, and the local storage option. You can’t beat that. If you are in the market for a doorbell but don’t want to spend a lot of money, give this one a shot. You will not be disappointed.

The Blink Video Doorbell with sync module is a quality device at a good price. I am impressed with the features and it has been working very well for me. I have a security camera above my front door and the Blink doorbell motion detection takes better clips than my wireless security camera. It comes with a two-way talk feature to allow you to communicate with people at your door when you are away from home or can not make it to the door. It would be great for anyone with limited mobility. Overall, I am very impressed with this device and think it is a great deal for the price!

The Blink Video Doorbell Camera is one of the best budget-friendly security devices on the market today. Backed by Amazon, Blink has created a product that is affordable, easy to use, and surprisingly feature-packed. Whether you’re new to smart home tech or just want a reliable video doorbell without breaking the bank, the Blink doorbell delivers more than expected.
Easy Setup and User-Friendly Design
One of the first things you’ll notice about the Blink doorbell is how simple it is to install. You can choose between a wired or wireless setup, depending on your home. The wireless option is especially great if you’re renting or don’t want to deal with wiring. The included mounting kit and instructions make the setup process a breeze—even for beginners.
The design is compact and sleek, with a clean black or white finish that fits well on any doorway. It doesn’t scream “tech gadget,” which makes it feel more discreet and natural in a home setting.
Great Video Quality and Motion Detection
The video quality is excellent for the price point. With 1080p HD resolution, the camera captures clear, detailed footage both during the day and at night thanks to its infrared night vision. Whether it’s a visitor at your door or a package being dropped off, you can see exactly what’s going on from the Blink app on your phone.
Motion detection is another standout feature. You can customize motion zones so the camera only alerts you when there’s movement in specific areas. This helps reduce unnecessary notifications and keeps your alerts relevant.
Two-Way Audio and Instant Alerts
The two-way audio is perfect for talking to delivery drivers, visitors, or even warding off unwanted guests. The microphone and speaker are built-in and work well through the Blink app, allowing you to communicate clearly from anywhere.
The instant alerts feature means you’ll get a notification as soon as someone presses your doorbell or motion is detected. It’s fast, reliable, and helps you stay in the loop no matter where you are.
Long Battery Life and Flexible Storage
One of Blink’s strongest selling points is its long battery life. Using two AA lithium batteries, the doorbell can last up to two years depending on usage, which is incredibly convenient. You don’t have to worry about constant recharging or complicated power setups.
As for video storage, you can choose between a Blink subscription plan for cloud storage or use the Sync Module 2 to save videos locally on a USB drive. This flexibility gives users more control over how they want to manage their recordings.
Conclusion: A Great Value for the Price
Overall, the Blink Video Doorbell Camera is an outstanding option for anyone looking to enhance their home security without spending hundreds of dollars. It offers great video quality, solid motion detection, long battery life, and user-friendly features in a sleek, compact package. Whether you’re a tech lover or just want peace of mind, this doorbell camera is definitely worth the investment.

Good Enough Quality

FYI: 1) I do not use Alexa or other in-home Smarthome products, so I cannot comment on the usefulness of syncing with those devices. My review is purely from a Video Doorbell standpoint sending to my mobile device. 2) I do not have a pre existing wired doorbell and therefore used the wireless option.
The attractive price of the Blink Doorbell + Sync Module 2 is not without its praise. Understand this is not a high-end Wireless/Wired Video Doorbell, but it's also not some cheap holiday season tech either. Blink has been slowly building its reputation for their security cameras and this setup definitely opens up the possibility for easy expansion with “good-enough” quality for your needs.
Also, you need to know that some of the features are locked behind a pay-wall (ie. subscription). Out-of-the-box, you can hook this up, sans subscription and get a basic home surveillance setup with this Doorbell and Blink’s Outdoor/Indoor cameras. It is a compelling offer, with some limitations, but I cannot deny the cost-to-value is quite high considering the buy in. The biggest limitation is access to the stored clips, while feasible without a subscription, but definitely not a quick operation. However, the subscription plan is stupid cheap and should be a serious consideration depending on your needs.
As a video doorbell with basic features, it is fine, and will get the job done showing you who is at your door and what they want. Saving clips/images is where it gets down to the differences between the cloud subscription and the local storage via the Sync Module 2. I’m not going to hash that out Blink lays all that out in their FAQ’s.
So, be an informed consumer and see if works for you.
I do have some Pro Tips about the device installation I mention and some specs that are not so apparent, but overall I can recommend this setup and I myself am seriously considering expanding the setup.
-Setup: This is not apparent, but you need to setup the Sync Module 2 first with this setup. IF the Sync Module 2 will not connect to your network, most likely it is because your password has special characters !-@-$: etc. (READ THIS)The current firmware CANNOT use these characters and it will fail to connect. The newest firmware fixes this, but you cannot update the device until it is connected to a network. A few options you have at this point...1) Change your router password temporarily (who wants to update all their connected devices?) until it is updated 2) Create a Guest Network without those special characters in the password (my choice) or 3) Use your phone's Mobile Hotspot to set up. Once the firmware is updated, you can then change the Wi-Fi Network the Sync Module 2 uses and continue setup of the Video Doorbell.
-Local Storage is best formatted for exFAT for Windows and is a must for MacOS. 256GB is the max storage size (I would not use an external HDD. Possibly an SSD would be fine, but Flash Drive is in all the literature). 256GB is WAY more than enough for the max 10 devices the Sync Module 2 can handle, so for just a Doorbell, it would take forever to fill up. FAT32 will work, but I did notice that in the Blink App there was not a tab for it in the Clip View, Cloud was the only option. I reformatted to NTFS and when I reinserted the Flash Drive to the Sync Module 2 the Blink App asked to Format Drive...which it defaults to exFAT (no option given in the app). The Local tab in the Clip View was now present.
-Installation: Attaching the doorbell to the mount...sucks. The waterproofing membrane keeps the device from sliding so it requires some force to slide it into place. The “click” sound also does not offer much confidence in your achievement, so it can make you think it is not attached. However, when it is...it is. There is no stealing this thing without a hammer or similar tool required to dismount it from the mounting bracket.
-Documentation: it was a little underwhelming how little info there was in the box that was needed to get started. Even the Quick Start Guide was nothing of the sort, rather the “Use and Limitations”. There are some printed instructions on the inside packaging cover for App download instructions, then the rest of the setup process is via the App.
-Camera/Audio Quality: Specs say 1080P...maybe because that is what all the cool kids are doing these days? Sure doesn’t feel like it though. Downloaded quality the file is 1280x720 at 24 frames per second. Not bad quality, just not sure where the 1080P comes into play there. I did find that the camera is a bit picky on the lighting scene. Too much sun and it washes out too little sun and the face is too dark. Night Vision with a door light on, washes out the face too. Audio for the guest is great quality with no feedback. On my end, it wasn’t the best and the lag is pretty bad. Thankfully you don’t have to hold down the button for two-way audio, just don’t look at the vide when trying to have a conversation. I found this was the same no matter if I was on my network or I was away from home on LTE/5G Cellular. What is hard to get access to though is Camera Snapshots. I still cannot find where they go.
-Motion Detection: Having Zoning capabilities and even privacy settings are huge for such a value product. There are plenty of settings to dial in your camera for your location and get the alerts you care about.
-Subscription: In order to use a subscription plan, it is required to link to your Amazon account. You do not have to link to your Amazon for local storage only. You are given this option upon setup.
In no way is this setup perfect. It has some software glitches and some hoops to jump through. The Blink App is simple and easy to navigate, but at the end of the day it does work. I found the App Alerts to be very quick and the time to access the Live View was pretty quick, so no complaints there.
I keep going back to the value of this system and have to stress that while the image quality is not the same of higher end products (build quality is excellent) the buy in price and feature set it offers all while giving a local storage option cannot be overlooked.
I can easily recommend this product for your needs. My 3 Star rating is due to the not quite 1080P claim, hoops to setup out-of-the-box with the password requirements, and the lag in audio on user end, and why is it so hard to find the Photo Snapshots (videos are easy to find) and so included with this last gripe, instruction set could be better.

The blink door bell camera is honestly disappointing compared to the quality of it competitor The Ring doorbell camera. The Blink doorbell camera has a slow load up time when you go to the live feed not to mention the mic volume is extremely low when you talk through the camera it sounds like the person talking is covering their mouth while speaking. Compared to the ring doorbell camera that has great sound quality. The pros for blink is that the cameras are affordable and it provides some level of security, The app has good features, when the camera is armed it gives good feed back on alerting you if there is movement in the vicinity. The blink is a good camera for someone who doesn't want to break the bank and just wants the base level of surveillance to give you that peace of mind.

So glad I got one. The videos are surprisingly good and in color. The price is cheap enough for most people. Only issues I've had are connectivity every so often. I have to remove and reinstall the sd card on the app to reconnect. Changing the battery, the clips break easily but I bought a protective case this fits in so I didn't have to throw it away. Customer service will replace the bracket so they are good but if the clip is broken on the unit (as is my case) the bracket is useless. The case solved that problem altogether and makes changing the batteries easier. I've had this for over a year and the original batteries lasted a long time but now it constantly shows a weak battery warning on the app. I've changed the batteries quite a few times with different brands but this is just something I've learned to live with. All and all I'm satisfied and happy that I can see activity in front of the house when I'm not there. I can't compare it to other similar devices as this is the only one I've ever had and it seems to do the trick at a good price point.

First, the promotional price is great for both the doorbell and sync module. The sync module not only allows you to tether numerous cameras together, but also allows you to store video locally, eliminating the need for a subscription. You should know, though, that you can not view the video remotely. You have to take out the flash drive and view it on a computer or other device.
The performance of the doorbell is somewhat disappointing. We had to move our router to about 10 feet away from the device to get reasonably consistent performance. The camera seems to work fine, other than there being a several second delay between the doorbell and the device I am viewing it on. Not much of a problem except when you are trying to use the two way communication. Also, it seems as though the door bell does not chime on my phone or give me notifications if the bell is rung again within a few minutes. It does take video within this time frame, though.
Installation is pretty straight forward. Gets a little trickier if you try to merge it with Alexa. There is almost no instructional help with that.
In general, it does work, if not real well, but you can't beat the price for an entry level security system.

This is our first video doorbell, I always wanted one but we have such a small space that most doorbells are too large. This is large too but surprisingly it fits in our small space. Installation & set up was super easy. We chose to go wire free & keep our existing doorbell, the only problem is by doing this you can’t hear the Blink doorbell ring. The video quality is good & our home is pretty far from the street but it actually captures cars going by & also movement in our driveway. Night vision is good too & you can switch to recorded videos or live view. Microphone is clear when talking to each other. Batteries are suppose to last up to two years. Notifications are constant on my phone because were in & out a lot so I just turned the sound off & have the banner show because it was driving me crazy. The only thing I don’t like is that a subscription is needed after 30 day trial in order to save the videos & the videos when played back are very small, even when viewed on an iPad I don’t see anywhere to enlarge them. Nice doorbell for the price though.

The Blink Video Doorbell is an awesome addition to any home security setup. It lets you chat with visitors thanks to its two-way audio feature, and the HD video gives you a clear view of your doorstep. Plus, you’ll always know what’s happening around your door with the motion and chime app alerts, even when you’re not home.
One of the coolest things about this doorbell is that it works with Alexa, so you can easily make it part of your smart home. Whether you go for the wired or wire-free version, installing it is a breeze. And the sleek black color option adds a nice touch to your entryway.
All in all, the Blink Video Doorbell offers great features, reliable performance, and peace of mind, making it a top choice for anyone upgrading their home security.

Easy installation and setup. I did a wired install which hooked up to my indoor chime. Image quality is good, but not as good as the blink outdoor 4 camera. One disappointment for me is that the ring of blue light around the button of the doorbell does not light up until that button is pressed. It does not light up with the motion of someone approaching. I called blink, and they said that feature was removed because it was draining the batteries. The blink app does seem to work well and is easy to navigate. You may want to review the blink website for the cost and features included with their subscription for cloud storage verses local storage of video.
