What I like about Blink camera is that it used lithium AA batteries, which are readily available at big box stores. I don’t have to run any wire for power. The batteries in the Blink last a long time. I have one of these cameras in my garage as I frequently leave my garage door open. The batteries lasted more than a year. The camera itself is very easy to mount on a wall. As for the wireless range, I don’t have problem with the connection between cameras and the base unit. For ease of installation and use, highly recommended.

This would be my first time purchasing this camera in Best Buy. I usually buy this in Amazon and for about the same price, but in my experience, buying through Best Buy came sooner compared to buying it from Amazon. I highly recommend buying these add-on cameras when they go on sale. So far I have used these cameras for about half a year and they are quite good. You can add up to 10 cameras to one module which is nice. You view the camera through Blink’s mobile application (which is owned by Amazon), and for the most part the UI of the mobile app is user-friendly. There would be times where the camera will pick up activities in its sensors a few seconds later than when it happens, but it is to be expected since it all depends on how fast the data from the camera is uploaded to the Blink servers and received through the Blink’s mobile application.

The Blink cameras were easy to setup and install. We have a total of 5 cameras outside to cover the perimeter of our home, and they do a good job of detecting motion. The 2-way sound quality is impressive, and so is the picture quality. It took us a little while to get the sensitivity and the settings just where we wanted them, but after a few months of having these, they offer us extra peace of mind. For the cost and ease of setup, I would definitely recommend them. We have a fairly large house (over 2200 sf.) so we did end up having to purchase a range extender for the wifi to reach all of the cameras.

Bang for your buck. Set up is easy. It's so convenient that they work with Alexa. Because of that I have lights that go on when there motion. So makes it a security light. There are tons of add on you can buy. There wireless which makes the best. So you can move around anytime anywhere. So for a decent home security for low to mediocre use it's the best out there. But if you're looking for consistent running you might want to get a hard wire camera

Great value for the money and very easy to set up. Batteries seem to last a very long time, as well.

Cons: 1. You can't view from a computer, disappointing. 2. Live Feed- It takes mine about 6-7 seconds before the recorded clips play. 3. System has no backup battery , if home power and wifi goes out you lose all visuals. Pros: 1. Very easy to set up and app is very easy to use. Had no issues at all synching all cameras to the tiny base. 2. Video quality from recording clips is pretty impressive, very clear. 3. Cameras seem pretty sturdy and hopefully they will actually be weatherproof, I plan to use all mine outdoors. Voice chat is actually working great. Not the loudest, but with a tiny camera and speaker it does ok.

This is an add on camera to another Blink - XT2 that we bought. These cameras are simple to install, have no wires, and are a breeze to use. The pictures are nice and clear as are the videos. We are totally pleased with these cameras, and the nice thing is that we can just add another anytime we want if necessary.

Purchased to view four year old playing in her room to ensure safety. Battery continues to last, can set to motion only, and the camera is able to see in the dark.

The price for this camera is very reasonable. I use this for the front and back of my house and beautifully. No issues with it whatsoever. I am extremely happy with the purchase of this camera . Great performance and works as expected. I would purchase more items from this company. You cant beat the price for the camera and the app that is used for this kind of camera.

I was very skeptical about this wireless camera after reading endless reviews online. I decided to get the first basic sync module and single-camera installed it, aim the angle where the wide view allowed. It does fantastic jobs while I am away got alert on my android app. I set it up from January 27 of 2020 until now 4 cameras around the house. I beat the craps out of the camera by exploring its capability software and found no problem. I reset and set back and forth still working as Wildhorse. It beautiful pic during daytime but at night blurry, add LED light that would enhance recording.

Outstanding camera for the price. Connects easy and battery life seem acceptable.

These camera's are easy to use and the picture quality is great. Even if you use them a lot and the batteries do not last two years they use AA lithium which are not expensive at all. This is a nice feature. Love them and will be getting more.

I have 6 Blink XT1 cameras and I am very happy with them. When Blink brought out the XT2 with 2-way talk, I was interested to see how it worked. The audio is decent enough to understand each other but there is a 2 second delay and the video is not in exact sync. Other than that, it alerts you to motion immediately and then saves the clip 8 seconds later, like the XT1. A very good outdoor camera and mobile app.

Good camera. Easy to use. Motion trigger is slow and range could be improve. Image quality generally good but declines with distance.

I now have three of these battery powered wi-fi cameras complimenting my four wired security cameras. These cameras work great and I have been getting over a year's operation time on each of them before batteries need changing (I take slightly longer video clips though). Love them and intend to add at least one more. They work great for locations where no power is available!

It was a great buy! The only thing i hate is once you delete there is no way to undo it. I have deleted some things on accident. it literally catches everything the AUDIO is a plus. It caught a family member speaking her mind i must say THANK you blink she has been officially cut out my life lol. Also it records in 30 sec increments so you might miss bits and pieces.

I recently bought the five camera system during the big prime day sales and I needed one more camera and I must say these cameras for just being operated by battery are truly truly something to behold. Crisp clear video and picture quality and I love that the battery life lasts two years. If anyone is on the fence about buying these cameras please do so you won’t be disappointed

Walked in BB. And was assisted quickly. Talked to the lady about adding another camera. They were on SALE. So got too. Cameras are so easy to set up. Very clear pictures. Sound is amazing. Love that I can speak to whoever is there. GET THESE !! We are older and hD this up and running in no time. Plus easy to add more cameras. We added 2 more Very happy

These little cameras work impressively well, especially considering the price point. They don't have a subscription-based model (unlike Ring), which is really nice. The wifi connection can be touch and go, and doesn't accept AC networks (not ideal). It took awhile for mine to finally connect, but they've stayed connected for the most part without issue. The app could use some updating and cleaning up, but other than that I would recommend these as a cheap, but good, alternative to the other options out there.

Blink has to be the best small home security camera for its price. Better than Arlo! Don't expect at this price for a plate number detecting camera though. Cons: had to replace batteries (especially if opted for a higher-quality image/longer recording). Pros: Easy set-up, good quality camera imaging, affordable.
