You NEED an external USB power cord for REAL USE.

Two years .... I don't think so! Four days is more realistic. But when powered by a wall wart with a USB cord, these cameras work GREAT! The XT2 adds two-way voice communication which is nice.They are EASY to set up and to move from one location to another. TEN cameras can be used with one HUB. I have ten of them now, and they are ALL powered externally. They work GREAT!

Enjoy the wireless function and battery life. Have been using 1 inside and 1 out for last 8 months. Just bought my second. App easy to use. My biggest observation is when removing the back. Not hard but some tension needed. I thinks it’s mainly that seal to keep it water tight. Thinking that’s a good thing:) Recommend if looking for basic security/observation, not continuous.

Great camera with with 2 way talk although I haven't used that part yet. Camera takes nice videos and no complaints. I also have Ring and that one goes off all the time for no reason. This one so far no problems. Highly recommend.
