Bloodborne is a great game. The atmosphere is so good and heavily influenced by Lovecraft. If you enjoy dark souls you should like bloodborne.

Bloodborne acts as a sister game to the Souls types of games: the mechanics are similar and the approach to exploring the world and punishing the player's mistakes is familiar, but this game has a decidedly darker tone than the Souls' dark fantasy setting in its steampunk-horror world. Add to that system an emphasis on taking risks and being more offensive in combat and you have the gist of Bloodborne.

I bought this game with no prior experience/knowledge of the Demon Souls, Dark Souls games. So needless to say I died a lot! (I mean a lot). But once you get used to the gaming mechanics and learn to properly upgrade your character. The game is AMAZING! I'm five hours in to my most recent character and I've only died a handful of times. I would highly recommended this game to any gamer. I consider my self a casual gamer and I'm hooked!

Along the same punishing experiences of the Souls games, Bloodborne will test even the most serious of gamers. Atmosphere & setting makes this game give you the willies, goosebumps every time you hear another creature moving through infected city. the addition of firearms won't make the journey easier but playing online with the tips from fellow gamers hopefully will but beware playing online can also have other players enter your game!

If you have played any of the dark souls game, I'm sure this would be like slipping on a comfy pair of shoes. Prepare to die a lot.

I played Dark Souls, not Demon's Souls, so my comparison is only to half of the series. Bloodborne is a very well made action rpg, and invokes that same feeling of meticulous fighting throughout the world. The control and animations are very clean, and you feel in control of your hero. The only problem with the game is the loading times, which does affect the 'die and try again' pacing, but you get used to it. This is the only reason I gave it 4 stars. Otherwise, it's probably one of the best action rpgs ever made. It's that good.

Reader beware. In this game ,you will die. A LOT. but please do give it a try as this is likely one of the only more rewarding games out there. almost reminiscent of those old Capcom games that made it really hard but also fun at the same time. bloodborne may not be for everyone, but trust me when i say that a lot has been put into this game. and you can even see it through the designs and lore. Definitely worth a try! Good luck!

Great price for a one of the best game for Ps4. I recommend for everyone. Lot hours of fun.

This game is not for everyone. However if you enjoy a challenge with wonderful gameplay this is for you. You will die a lot and replay areas over again. It can be frustrating when you get stuck on a certain enemy or boss. However the satisfaction of overcoming these moments is what makes this game badass. With the overall value (70+hours) and addicting gameplay. This is without a doubt one of the best games in a while. Give it a shot.
