Very lovingly crafted throwback to 2D Castlevania games of the past, don’t get this confused for the other Bloodstained game which is a 2.5D style game, though it’s also a great game for Castlevania fans as well.

Feels exactly like it should, an 8 bit Castlevania clone, and there's nothing more i wanted from it. Tight controls. Great NES-style visuals. Fantastic soundtrack. Brutally difficult. Well worth a purchase.

If you're a fan of the Castlevania series for the original NES, especially Castlevania III, you'll definitely appreciate this game. While not quite as polished as those games were it is certainly worthy of a play through. The boss fights are especially good. The soundtrack is adequate but no specific tune aside from the title screen music is as memorable as some of the original Castlevania games.

I bought this in addition to the digital download of the game. It's very fun with an old school NES castevania feel. I haven't opened as I bought it as a collectors item but the packaging appears nice.

I absolutely love this game. Graphics and gameplay are very good. Like the 4 different characters you get to play as. Would recommend this to anyone who likes castlevania or old school games

Beautiful pixel art, great gameplay,just wish it was longer but man it is awesome,i love it.Limited run games keep it coming and keep releasing more on best buy please you won't regret it.

Short but great game. Good to play before Ritual of the Night later next week at Bestbuy. I would recommend this game. If you like the old school Castlevania you'll definitely enjoy this.

This is a great throwback game inspired by Castlevania III on the Nintendo NES. I highly recommend it to any and all Castlevania fans!

If you like Shovel Knight, be sure to check this one out. It’s a near-perfect homage to Castlevania III, but with modern conveniences like save files. It’s a ton of fun!

If you are a Fan of Castlevania on the Nintendo DS and Love side scrollers like I do you will fall in Love with the story and gameplay.

Absolutely love this game! Plays just like the classic Castlevania games on the NES and SNES. Story and gameplay are excellent. Highly recommend picking this game up!

The best 8-bit castlevania that never was. A really solid retro platformer that's not long but has legitimate replability thanks to multiple characters and endings.

Long live Bloodstained! I really hope this and Ritual of the Night become the start to a long running series of game titles. They've got my support!

Great game if you are into the old NES Castlevania games specifically Castlevania III Dracula's Curse. The game is a bit short, but has multiple routes you can take to get to the end and multiple endings to unlock. Admittingly I would recommend the digital version over the physical version due the the high price.

Multiple paths, multiple endings, multiple modes, that open up as you beat the game. Lots of replay value. Lots of neat things to discover.

This is a great callback to the original 3 castlevania games on NES. The game has similar controls and an excellent soundtrack. Worth it!
