    This new game from Koji Igarashi feels just like his castlevania games you know and love without actually being a castlevania game. Avoid on switch for now until the performance is fixed in an upcoming update.

    I really enjoy the game play and it a fun to get into this game . I need to have quality time with this game too . This game is pretty easy to manage and I really have nice time too .

    This game has been long in development, but worth the wait. The switch version is buggy, but playable The best version of the game is on the PS4 as of this review. Sooner or later the switch version ill be patched. The maker of SOTN made this game and its a great game with a different feel. I wont spoil the game just let you know its a bargain at the 40 dollar price

    Great game! But the switch port leaves a lot to be desired! Half the framerate of other versions and glitches!

    This is a fantastic game for any fans of the metroidvania style. The switch version has worse graphics than the other versions but the portability of the console helps offset that fact. Highly recommend!

    Recommended for fans of old school platform games. It's metroidvania, but more of homage to the good old 16 bit years with better graphics. Best part is you can play it on the go or dock on your Big TV.

    Despitd the negative reviews for the switch I chose it. Even with the update, the game still stutters in places and is choppy. Otherwise a fun game.

    Growing up with NES games, I have played my fair share of the old Metroidvania genre. This games brings me back to the good ol days but with graphics that look good when displayed on newer TVs.

    This is a fun game that any fan of the older Castlevania games will enjoy. It has a meaty length with lots of monsters and powers to collect. However out of all the versions this one by far looks the worst. If you have any other console or pc I strongly recommend getting it there. It has been patched so it runs a lot better then it did when it first came out. The graphics have not really improved much though. Very blurry and muddy looking. If you only have a switch then I would still recommend it but only on a deep discount.

    THE GAME IS AMAZING! BUT the switch has tons of major issues, Iam not sure if they will get pached but there is afew times where the whole game shut off before i could save, and slow glitches

    Great gameplay. Only issue I have with the game is some FPS issues in some areas. Devs still need to patch the game a bit more to optimize it. Still incredibly fun to play though.

    Not perfect, but a worthy spiritual successor to the "Metroidvania" Castlevania titles. I enjoyed it on the Switch, despite a few glitches here and there.

    Seriously, if you liked Castlevania SoTN....buy this now...it's great. If you're reading this having never played SOTN, stop wasting your life and find a way to play it...them buy this. If you didn't like SOTN, this isn't for you...but neither is joy, fun, ice cream or physical love...you are a souls less vessle and must be destroyed.

    I HAD BEEN WAITING FOR A LONG TIME FOR THIS GAME!! AND EVERY SINGLE 3RD PARTY GAME THAT COMES OUT I ALWAYS GET IT ON THE XBOX ONE X BECAUSE OF THE PERFORMANCE. WELL I DECIDED TO MAKE AN EXCEPTION FOR THIS TITLE ONLY SINCE IT SEEM LIKE THE PERFECT GAME TO BE PLAYED ON THE SWITCH PORTABLE MODE......AND WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT IT WAS!! DON'T GET ME WRONG THE GAME IS GREAT BUT THE TECHNICAL ISSUES ON THE SWITCH MAKE IT A HARD SELL FOR THE SYSTEM. THE ONE TIME I DECIDED TO GET A 3RD PARTY GAME FOR THE SWITCH AND IT DISAPPOINTS ME.
