Bloodstain ritual of the night for Nintendo switch is and excellent game great graphics amazing story really well done game

Has some minor bugs that needs working out but other than that it's a fantastic game to play on the Nintendo switch I love it

Aside from the glaring flaws from this port, Bloodstained RotN is still a very fun (and honestly the best) loveletter from the original creator of Symphony of the Night. And the fact that the developers are aware of, and are working on the issues, makes it that much better of a release.

Bloodstained Ritual of the Night is a fantastic and addicting metroidvania game; however, despite various patches, the switch version still suffers from occasional frame rate issues, but nothing game breaking. I would still recommend adding this game to your Switch library.

I haven't opened or played this game yet. Apparently, it has major performance issues on the switch. I think I'm going to wait to see if it gets a patch or just return this and get the PS4 version. The game looks fantastic!

Game is led by former 'legendary' Castlevania series producer Koji Igarashi, and is considered a spiritual successor to the series. Based on that, I purchase the game and it is a good game. But it do have its issue in the Switch platform. Need the patches to work!

It’s been a while since we got a great castlevania game, and now we have bloodstained the future of castlevania. Everything that made the old games great, bloodstained does it better. Mashing action platforming with rpg elements with cool enemy types. What more do you need?

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night has been labelled as the spiritual successor to the Castlevania series, and it really shows. This takes me back to the old NES, SNES & PlayStation entries in the series. Its a very good game that feels both old and new. I highly recommend it...but...the version on Switch still needs some work. There has been 1 patch released but more are needed. There are some major performance issues on Switch with the framerate stuttering and going below 30 fps a bit too often. The game looks and sounds great, but hopefully the performance issues will be rectified soon.

I bought this on Switch because I wanted to be able to play it on the go. I sold it shortly after buying it, I couldn't stand how bad it looked. I plan on getting it for PS4 or Xbox at some point, because the gameplay is pretty nice. The steelbook is gorgeous though.

The game itself is great but this particular port, out of the box, needs work. Hopefully the Switch port will get updates to make it better in the future. If you're working on a backlog, add this to it and hopefully it will be better by the time you get around to it.

Bought the ps4 version after playing the switch version because the switch version is laggy, blurry, and just not pleasant to play tor look at. If you have no other option play it cause it's a great game but it's not the best experience.

Great spiritual successor to Symphony of the night splendid atmosphere great visuals in an enduring story.

This is a bit of a strange first metroidvania game to select for someone but it is still a very solid game with plenty to offer for its price. Beginners may shy away if things get a little too tricky but you can always grind up a few levels and tackle the challenges again. Grinding is encouraged since every enemy can give a new special ability to use. With the right set up you can feel downright unstoppable and thats great since you have to work for it.

If you don't like videogames, stop reading. If you enjoyed Castlevania:Symphony of the Night and the Nintendo DS Castlevanias, you'll enjoy this. The Switch Version has some graphics issues, but they don't bother me. Play it. Enjoy it. Beat it. Great game.

Overall a very fun game if you're in to Metroidvania type of games. Switch version definitely has some loading issues at times. Definitely the type of game you could easily put in 100+ hours into. I have only played in undocked mode as if this review.

If you like Castlevania Symphony of the Night, you will love this game. Great graphics, gameplay and music.

This is a fantastic game with loads of customization options and a vast castle to explore. Sadly the Switch port has some issues. The makers have promised updates to improve performance and visuals. I give them the benefit of the doubt that they will.

I got the Switch verson solely for the Steelbook case, but was a bit disappointed with it not being an actual custom case for a switch game, but just a regular steelcase for a CD/DVD with a plastic case holder inside for the switch game, but even that doesn't even fit snug in the case. The game as of launch for the switch is a bit of a disappointment as well with all the bugs and glitches. I would say if you really want this version to wait till it's patched up or till the price goes down. In the meantime if you own any other console or PC get it there for now.
