Great game! It reminds me of sotn. The graphics are beautiful and the game play is on time. I would recommend this to any castlevania fan.

This is a game for those who enjoy side scrolling games. Great soundtrack, good story, awesome gameplay. Perfect for those old school castlevania fans.

If you like games like Castlevania Symphony of the Night or the DS ones (or other "Metroidvania" type games), you will definitely like this game too. Runs at 4K 60 FPS with HDR on Xbox One X, and the graphics, music, etc. are well done. There's a few minor bugs and nitpicks, but for a lower budget title they are easy to look past and the gameplay is still satisfying and fun. And patches and free content updates are on the way.

A very good successor to Castlevania symphony of the night. The game is challenging but rewarding. Some grinding is required to defeat difficult bosses. Nevertheless the game looks fantastic and the game will keep you engrossed. I definitely recommend a buy if a Castlevania fan. But do recommend either on Xbox or PS4 until Switch port has been patched.

I have been waiting for this game since it was first announced on Kickstarter, and it did not disappoint. Bloodstained has lovely graphics, smooth controls, a deep combat system, and rewarding exploration.

Purchased as a gift. Recipient liked it and so far I haven't heard anything negative from him.

This game is a phenomenal tribute to classic Metroidvania games. I highly recommend it, especially on Xbox One X. I would steer clear of the Switch version unless that is your only option, due to performance issues.

This game looks beautiful in 4K, you can see so many details in the background and in the characters. With HDR, the flames and all the little lights look like they are real fire in front of you. The moon looks absolutely gorgeous. And the game is one of the best in its genre. Exploration and adventure abound and the music is excellent.

If you are at all familiar with Castlevania then you will feel right at home playing Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. The game is the spiritual successor to Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and even includes some of the original designers from that game. The game features a variety of weapons and magic abilities that let you customize your play style. Your character levels up and you have some choices for equipment which will affect your character's stats. There is a fair amount of exploring and plenty of secrets to be found.

A TRUE successor to Castlevania SOTN! I couldn't put this game down until I found every room. Very large map, and beautiful graphics. A little slowdown very rarely would be my only complaint. The most fun I've had with a game in a very long time. Get it!

The Xbox one X and series X version runs the game in 4K native where the PS4/pro and PS five version does not. This is a great game and looks best on xbox hardware. Highly recommend to castlevania fans.

Excellent graphics . The 4k is nice as well. Fun game. I have it for the Switch as well . Graphics not as good but the portability is good when it comes to switch . Like an old school game . Fun

I wish i could give it 5 stars but the game is riddled with bugs and crashes sometimes. The gameplay however is super fun and keeps you on your toes. Secrets riddled around the map and some fun boss fights i cannot help but love the game. But it does hurt when the game strait up crashes sometimes.

This is an example of a crowd funded game made properly. The controls feel nice and the music is top notch. If you liked the castlevania games for gba and psx, you'll enjoy this.

Bloodstained Ritual of the Night is an excellent side scrolling game made by the creator of Castlevania. It carries on many of that franchises wonderful elements.

This game continues the beloved Castlevania: Symphony of the Night series with the classic gameplay, quests, items and music as the original.

Fun 2D platform game a lot like Castlevania. Worth the $40 price tag. Deducted a star as the 2 updates were over 14GB in less than a week. The install from the disc was only 7.7GB. Another company shipping a game before it's finished. Very annoying!

It is a 10/10 for *anyone* who really enjoyed playing Symphony of the Night. If you really liked that game, you will absolutely without question enjoy this game and it will be a 10 for you. Frankly, I'm annoyed it took so long for the game industry to make something amazing like this.

Bloodstained is an excellent game that features Metroid/Castlevania Symphony of the Night RPG style game. So if you are a fan of that type of game then you will definitely love this game. Good amount of game play (about 15-25 hours) and hi replay value. Graphics are good for what it is. 3D characters and elements on a 2D platform but it definitely works with this type of game.
