Great Basic Cellphone for Seniors

I purchased this phone for my 91 year old grandma, she was having a hard time using her smartphone. The reviews were spot on except AT&T in the area just upgraded their towers and the phone would not work on their service. I was able to get it hooked up through T-mobile with a great voice and text plan at a nominal monthly fee. My grandma loves the phone and she has no problems using the large numeric keypad.

This is a simple phone, probably made for seniors with large number pad and simple controls. It is a throwback to the analog phones like Nokia with good battery life. I bought this phone as an emergency phone for my child, which works well. Controls are simple, has a basic camera, FM radio, messaging. It has a dual SIM card slot, which is helpful when traveling abroad. It appears fairly durable for the 3 weeks that we had it, though not waterproof. For the low price and the intended use, it serves its purpose well.

Could not get a SIM Card that works even from TMobile. Needs to work only on 2G networks, Had heard in online reviews only TMobile and maybe StraightTalk would work. Either this phone was not actually unlocked, or else Cell Network in Orlando area does not accept the 2G TMobile card anymore. Will be returning it. Should not be sold anymore. Disappointing, since these large numbers are probably only ones my 90 yr old Dad can see any longer. There is a market for a 4G phone with large numbers, not sure if I can find one.

Ordered it for my mom and had it shipped to my brother who lives near her. I triple checked that it would work with att, but brother said 2 SIM cards later it wouldn’t accept a call. This would have been perfect, if it could have worked on our account
