I'd give it 4 1/2 stars if BB would let me. Bought this to replace a Moto G3. Screen and body shape are great. Phone is is marginally larger (in height) than the the G3 but runs rings around it in ease of use, resolution, features and battery life. It came with Android 6 but an update to 7 has been promised. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
Finger print reader works 95% of the time, 5% falls back to your pre-selected numeric password. Weakest point is the 16MP back camera. Performance is sluggish and the HDR option is so slow you need to have extra support to hold it still....Mine has a focus problem when using the camera sport setting. Most other camera features work ok, but I wish the flash was also stronger. In comparison to the Moto G3 camera the camera on the BLU rates a 2 out of 5 while the Moto was a 4 out of 5.
If you are looking for a inexpensive phone with an HD screen, 64GB of memory and 4B Rom, this phone is for you. If you are looking for a camera centric phone, keep looking.

This is my first day review of the BLU Life One X2. 64GB/4GB Ram model. Based on my first impressions, I have put together a pros vs cons to help you decide on this phone.
Pros:
1. Phone feels solid. The build of the phone does not feel cheap. Great metal back plate mid range/premium feel. The edges of the phone are smooth and feel great in the hand.
2. The display on the phone is very bright and vivid. This is particularly surprising as the phone is not equipped with an AMOLED display. Display is very important to me and the display on this phone is quite good.
3. The phone only came to use 16GB of the built in 64GB which is very good. The phone also recognized my 64GB microSD card. The specs on the phone state that 32GB is the max the phone will read so having it read 64GB with no issue is a plus.
3.1. The microSD card can be used as internal memory or external. This can be setup in the storage settings.
4. The phone comes with removable bloat ware games. The stock launcher isn't bad but can easily be replaced by the Google Now Launcher. The phone is semi stock android and Google Now Launcher makes it feel almost stock pure android.
5. The phone includes a TPU case, clear film screen protector and headphones. The headphones are very good quality and have a nice sound to them. The clear TPU case is quite nice and so is the screen protector. I will be using a tempered glass one as soon as I get it in the mail.
5.1. The headphones allow for the use of an FM radio tuner built in to the phone. A nice little bonus!
6. Unlike other BLU smartphones, this model does support the 12 and 17 LTE bands. 12 = T-Mobile and 17 = AT&T.
6.1. The phone does not require setting up of APN as all I did was insert my AT&T SIM card and it worked as it should right away.
7. Quick charge is fantastic on this phone. Works well with quickcharge 2.0 and 3.0.
8. Fingerprint scanner responds well, not too much lag.
9. The two SIM card slots are independent of the memory card slot. The two SIM card slots are on the opposite side of the memory card.
Cons:
1. No NFC
2. Uses micro SIM cards in a world of Nano SIM cards. You will need an adapter if you have a nano sim.
3. No 5ghz wi-fi receiver.
4. Battery can drain quickly. Easily and quickly fixable with quickcharge.
5. The 4GB of ram could have benefited from a 2.0Ghz processor vs the stock 1.4 Qualcomm. Most apps will run smooth and you will not notice any lag. If you are using your phone with multiple apps running, you will notice a delay. The phone will also get slightly warm.
6. Cameras will take photos but you will most likely not be printing most of the photos taken to frame them.
7. The CEO of BLU did tweet to say this phone would receive Android 7.0 in a 6-9 month time frame back in September 2016. Based one prior customer reviews, BLU phones are not ones to get updates. We shall see if this promise is delivered.
Overall, for the price, this phone is a steal. The phone feels great in the hand and will pack enough punch for the average user. Plenty of onboard memory, nice vivid 1080p screen, quickcharge, included accessories, etc. I believe the phone could have benefited from NFC to compliment the fingerprint scanner for Android Pay. Nano SIM card slots would have been a bonus. Overall, I say BLU has made a believer out of me with this very budget friendly phone. Well worth the cost!

Had the phone about 3 months when the power button came off. Sent it in for repair and a month later they sent back the wrong model. Another few weeks and they finally sent a brand new phone. Less than a year after that the new phone would not boot up and since the warranty goes by the date of the original purchase they would not repair it. They offered me a $30 trade in allowance. No thanks, will not by BLU again.
