Nice phone and reasonably price with all my the needed functionality. Easy to use and setup . Good starter phone and small enough to fit nicely into a pocket.

I wanna to upgrade dad without breaking the bank, phone responds well camera is good and he plays his game just fine and is better then what he had before and a good price so it was perfect the box came with screen protector and case which was a major plus!!

Shipping was fast, so thumbs up for Best Buy. V5 is an ok phone, but it could be much better. Then again, for 90$ you can't really complain. We use this phone for Sim City exclusively, meaning we didn't even put a sim card in it, so phone call quality wise we can't say much. On the other hand, regarding battery life, screen, gaming performance and overall feel of the phone, we sure can say a few things about those. Battery life is ok. Again, we don't know how it does when used for phone calling etc. Screen is ok, although it has a pretty high resolution, so games look kinda weird. In case of Sim City, everything is tiny, unlike on our other phones. But, for general use, resolution is fine. Some people do complain about the touch sensitivity of the screen, and we can testify to that. Although, the included screen protector might be the culprit. This being a totally unknown phone, getting replacement screen protectors and cases might be difficult. We didn't like the included silicone case, because the buttons on the side were too senstivive to touch. We initially thought there must be a problem with the case (recessed button cutouts were too shallow, or something), but it turns out the phone's back covering was the culprit. We bought two replacement back covers from eBay (since we were thinking of ditching the silicone case, and just using the phone without it, which means it will get scratched, so it would be better to have a back cover replacement or two lying around). We replaced the phone's back cover and all of a sudden the buttons on the side, while phone was in the silicone case that comes with it, had much more resistance to them. So, yeah. It's a 90$ phone, things like these were to be expected. But what was not expected and it's the biggest gripe for us when it comes to this phone is the volume rocker on the left side. Horrible placement. Just horrible. All buttons should be on one side, period. Because, when you put phone in landscape mode, you are bound to press those volume buttons and it is super annoying. A quick fix is to rotate the entire phone. Also, wish the phone had a tad more RAM. It rocks Android 9, and I wish it had Android 8, experience would be much smoother. Anyways, recommended(ish). If your expectations aren't too high. Maybe it would be better to invest 50-60$ more and get a Motorola, or or something else when on sale (got a Moto X4, which is a 250-300$ phone, for 130$ on sale, for instance), even though those ones often get bad reviews.

Because of the Christmas witch is very close I decided to find some gifts for my grandsons ( boys 13 and 15 years old) and to not create any noises I decided to be similar the gifts.On my visit to Best Buy when I see that phone I buy one for each.For the price you paid is very good stuff especially for beginners. I recommend to everybody who want to don’t spend a fortune for a phone for beginners.

I BOUGHT MY SON THIS SAME EXACT CELL IN JANUARY OF THIS YEAR AT BEST BUY & ABOUT 6 MONTHS LATER IT WOULDN'T CHARGE ANYMORE (EVEN WITH NEW CHARGERS... ALSO TRIED TIPS ON HOW TO CLEAN THE PART WHERE THE CONNECTION GOES. CAN'T RECALL THE NAME OF IT RIGHT NOW, BUT THAT DIDN'T WORK EITHER)... SO I BOUGHT HIM ANOTHER ONE. OK CELL FOR THE PRICE, JUST HOPING THIS ONE DOESN'T MESS UP AS WELL.

You go into this phone not thinking its going to be top of the line. It does the basic functions of calling texting and running simple apps. The screen protector that comes with the phone lifts up a bit on the edges. Doesn't completely flatten on the screen. It also takes a slight more pressure with your fingers when trying to use the touch screen and having the screen protector on. But for 80 bucks, thats what i got it for, its an OK phone.

Disclaimer: I am not using this as a phone, i do not have cellular service on this, but i connected it to wifi. I'm using this as basically a camera that can be used to quickly take photos and send them to my email (for work), and something that won't break the bank when it gets lost or damaged as i just leave it at work all the time. Got this phone unlocked and sim-free for about $90 and i was pretty surprised at what came in the box. The clear case was a good bonus. Plastic construction reminds you of the price you paid, but overall not bad for a sub-100 phone. Screen size is good, software is slow and bloated, but camera is OK for the price. Pictures look suprisingly better when viewed from a device with a better screen (other phones/laptops). MicroSD card support is also a great plus! I cannot comment on the other features as these are the only functions I've used on the phone so far.

Overall this is a great phone! The only real critique I have is with the camera, but for what you pay for the phone, it is well worth it and I highly recommend it!

Got this as a replacement for a very old iPhone 3 that my father was still using. It is a very competent Android smartphone and big plus that the case and tempered glass screen protector are included in the box. Also it has an easily replaceable battery. My only gripe with this phone is the speakerphone. The speaker is on the back of the phone and not quite loud enough for folks hard of hearing. If you cup your hand behind it the sound is much better, but I think a better design would have been to put the speaker on the front like my Moto G4. It has a standard headset jack, so no stupid USB adapters needed. Micro USB charging. Front and rear facing cams. Really a great package for the price and UNLOCKED! No carrier restrictions. We're using it on AT&T.

The camera isn't all that great on this phone. It's a quick fix but there's no case card for this phone at all which is really a big bummer. If you're someone that breaks your phones don't buy this one don't come with a durable case and you can't find a case anywhere for it.. it's great for everything else like a mini tablet. The phone doesn't even want to call on it service has a slow dial up.

I bought this phone when I broke my ASUS phone beyond repair. So I got it as a temporary phone and besides being a little slow it isnt bad for the price for an unlocked phone. However it doesn't have fingerprint detection which I cant live without (replaces passwords on a lot of apps) so I bought another phone and will keep this as a spare.

Constantly unintentionally turning on the camera and taking photos and movies of the inside of my pocket, but then again, I have not read the manual, which was very difficult to find. The website referred to in the Quick Start Guide did not work, and the phone is actually a G5 not a V5.

This is my second BLU phone. Had the R1-HD before. Took a powder, but I loved it. So far this one is okay. Has some improvements over the R1-HD, but also has some deficiencies. Still the best SMART phone for the money.

good quality, easy hold and function. great for the price. I would highly reccomend this device for people who are clumsy and / or like to have lots of apps and storage in a regular android smartphone. also decent picture resolution.

I was on a tight budget and needed an unlocked phone to use with Q- Link wireless a (Obama phone dervice). Unlocked phones tend to be more expensive than carrier subsidized phones. So I looked online and found this phone by Blu. $89.99! I assumed it would be a piece of junk. I was wrong, my wife likes it better than the $1300 Samsung she had a few years ago! I can't imagine what a good phone there upgrade the V50 is.

I got this for my child as a starter phone. It works perfectly. He streams Hulu and Disney+ with no issues. Youtube works perfectly as with any app. The camera is decent. However, the camera doesn't work so well in the dark. Other than that, this phone is great.
