I purchased this cellphone back in September (2018) to replace my previous smartphone, which had a failing battery. This Blu model stood out to me for two primary reasons: 1) it had 8GB of storage, and 2) it was unlocked. I have now owned this model for a couple of months, and have come to the conclusion that it is adequate, however I had to tweak my usage a bit, for one, I had to stop using a weather app which used background data, and I also had to turn it off when I wasn't using it. I also found myself using my iPod more for music and internet access. Overall, through, I will keep using it until it dies on me, however the battery and speed issues keep me from buying another.

My husband's phone died so i replaced it and he promptly lost is so I had to buy another. This phone actually work pretty good and is a nice compact size for a low price. Only downfall noted is that it is only 3g not 4g and you can't expand the memory to much.

I found the cell phone to be difficult too use...I had trouble turning in on. I have to take lots of extra time to get it working as needed....much of this, admittedly, is my own lack of technology skills with newer technologies. Despite that fact that I was the "go to" person in the office for any computer related difficulties, I am having a real tough time with this product. Sales person was not much help either, which is uncommon for Best Buy salespeople. I signed a paper stating that the phone could not be returned for other than faulty parts. Am considering getting a different brand.

I purchased this as a 2nd mobile to carry in my pocket when I did not want to carry a purse. Has the functions that I need although I'm still learning some of its nuances. Overall great for its price point.

bought for a trip - good for basics - and works in European countries

Bought this phone as a gift for my friends son.. was a great little phone for someone that just needed something for now.

This is a great basic smartphone. For the price, you can't go past it. I wanted a smartphone for my elderly mother-in-law to make voip calls. This one is perfect. My only concern is that it's really slow compared to my Samsung s8. If you want a quick phone, this isn't it but otherwise, totally worth it.

I bought this to use a travel SIM with on a recent trip to Europe. It did great for it's purpose. All day battery life. Under powered for web browsing and adding apps, but it's a nice size and has a nice display.

Phone is only good if you want your little one to be able to call you if needed or visa versa. Not for streaming or going on the internet or anything else. If you try to do more than one thing at a time ie. Talk with a friend and look up the address of a restaurant the phone will glitz out and stop working. Am told this was common for this brand. Not worth the money. It was cheap and I can see why.

This phone was bought to serve as an emergency phone while I was waiting for a replacement to come as I need a phone because of work. Thought that by buying a cheap smartphone would help me as this phone comes with Android so I was able to downloads the apps that I need for communication. It turned out that even without any apps nor files, the phone would behave like a 10 year old phone. Very slow, quick battery consumption and worst picture quality I’ve ever had. No, not a good replacement to any phone. Don’t waste your time and money with this device. And the bad thing as well is that Best Buy charges you for restocking fee, which in this case makes the purchase experience terrible.

It is a smartphone and it has access to the same apps as another any other with Android, so , if you don't want o pay extra for the brand, this is a good choice.

Can be used as a traditional mobile just for making calls or messge.. apart from this its too slow for any app like YouTube.

It was for a friend in another country. She said it works good .

Needed it for a trip to Africa. Served the purpose very well

I bought this phone for use out the country. It came unlocked as described and my international SIM card worked perfectly. I was able to use it through out my short stay. Battery life was good too. With moderate use a single charge should see you through the day.

My opinion is that the battery does die pretty quick.

This phone is very very slow. Everything works ok, but being so slow will turn a lot of people off. If you can deal with it being slow then it's an ok phone. A good backup phone. Hey for $50.00 it's pretty good.

phone is slow even in wifi...very bad for multitasking.

It's a phone and can do the usual things. Slowly. Don't expect to run more than one app at a time or you'll quickly max out its resources. But it gets the job done cheaply, if that's all you need

Using this unlocked phone for international travel. Essential apps such as Google Maps take forever to load and sometimes get stuck. While useful at times, you apparently do not pay for reliability with this low-cost phone.
