I happen to go through phones at least 2 or 3 times a year. Sometimes more. I only buy used flagship models or budget/mid-range models new.
My MotoE4 plus died before I was able to hunt down a deal for something used. I came into Best buy and immidiately was drawn to a working display model of the Vivo Xi+ (not this model)
It was gorgeous. I mistook it for an iPhone to be honest. However I didn't have $300 in my pocket to Shell out. This Vivo XI was a more affordable option, Albiet less bells and whistles. $219.99 and a $50 discount if you purchase prepaid service, which I did with AT&t prepay. So 169 99 plus tax.
build quality was great on the phone and I was delighted to see that it came with two cases and headphones. Something someone clumsy like me needs for sure.
Screen- not as pretty as the plus model, but still have that notch design that everybody seems to be trying to get away with. If anything the screen at least looked modern. my iPhone toting friends who love to Android-shame could at least give me the benefit of mistaking it for an iPhone from far away. Haha.
Processor/memory snappy for basic use. However if you do anything memory intensive the 3gb ram could be used quickly.
32 GB of storage is enough for basic use however if you really want to do anything more you would need to put a SD card in. No big deal.
This phone had to be returned though because there was no sound coming out of speaker whatsoever. However the call quality was just fine.
Camera set up above-average.
How tall just a decent basic phone. If you are not hung up on iPhones were galaxies and just looking for something inexpensive, this phone is the way to go. However I feel that there are better deals out there on devices in this same category.
When I returned the phone for the defect, I traded up to the Vivo xi+ and it was definitely worth the 80 bucks go for the plus model if you can spring.

Bought this for my mom and she loves it. It's an iphone clone but with android. Screen is bright and clear. Great budget phone. Also comes with 2 cases, a film screen protector already installed (careful removing factory screen film or might pull it off) and a glass screen protector if you want to install it instead of the film one. Would buy for a young or older person. In fact for any person really.

I hesitated between this phone and the Vivo XI + and opted for this model for several reasons -- one would be the standard headphone jack (which the Vivo XI + is missing) and the quality of the pictures. I compared the camera between the two models and the colors were much more vivid and alive on the Vivo XI as opposed to the XI +. I've taken many pictures since my purchase and the quality is simply stunning, not just at this price point but at any price point. Beautiful colors and incredible detail. The phone is perhaps on the heavier side but that's a small trade off I was willing to make. In terms of performance there is no lag, it's very smooth and the display is beautiful. It's really a stunning phone for only a fraction of what you might be expected to pay with better known brands. If you do get it make sure to get a hard case as well as they're hard to come by -- the two cases that come with it may not offer enough protection in case of a hard drop.

I am thoroughly impressed with the quality and performance of this phone. Seriously. This phone is a straight STEAL. 1st off it has a premium design. 2nd there is absolutely no lag at all and I use my phone alot. 3rd the camera is sick and it has alot of features like a wide angle selfie cam and dual cameras on the back for portrait mode. 4th the PRICE. I have this phone on Verizon. I am satisfied. The phone also came with 2 phone cases head phones and a quick charger.

It lacks some features you'd find in much more expensive phones, but is a solid choice if you don't want to pay crazy money to have one of the latest and greatest flagship phones, that in my opinion, cost way too much. Battery life is great, and it has done everything that I've asked of it. USB-C charging would be nice, the 5GHz WI-FI reception isn't the greatest, no NFC, and the glass screen protector that it comes with fits poorly. The info for the phone also states that it's upgradeable to Android Pie (9.0), but mine seems to be stuck on Oreo (8.0) and it shows the last security update was 12/2018. The phone feels fairly solid and also comes with two silicon cases to help protect it. It works much better on T-Mobile's network than the previous phone I had, which is nice, because I used to get a lot of dropped calls and have trouble sending MMS messages.

This is a great device. I hesitate to call any 'smart phone' a phone, because they are really a PDA, but this is as good a one as any. It's very fast, has very nice multitasking features (It does split-screen), the Bluetooth works very nicely, the dual-sim feature is amazing, and the call quality is very good. I'll admit that some phones have a little bit nicer sound quality in the call department, but this one is more than adequate. The camera works very nicely and takes about as good a picture as any PDA can. The touchscreen works VERY well, and I hate touchscreens. The fingerprint sensor also works very well. The battery lasts a long time. I can go at least three days between charges.
The only downside I have found so far is there is a distinct lack of aftermarket options for cases and screen protectors. The other downside is that people think it's an iPhone X, and I wouldn't be caught dead with one of those overpriced monstrosities.
You cannot beat this PDA for the price, and really, the only thing an iPhone X offers that this PDA doesn't is a slightly nicer screen - but at $700 more than this PDA costs.

Have used it for three months and took some tweaking with settings to get a decent battery life out of it. Last week the screen started peeling out in one corner and over the next four days the whole of bottom edge has peeled out and the sturdy looking metal body has bent backwards.
The first level of support seemed to agree that the battery may be swelling and pushing out the body. But after talking to supervisors changed the tune and said there is 'physical damage' and hence the warranty is void. Talking to three levels of supervisors had the same response the insinuation being we somehow damaged the phone by sitting on it or dropping it. The justification for the product being' ' I personally use that phone and it works fine'.
There is some manufacturing defect that is causing some internal part to swell but Blu refuses to acknowledge it and analyze it to make the product better. Instead they just want to blame the customer of abuse.
Shame on Blu.

Let me start off by saying that I needed a cheaper phone fast. With that said, I did my research after finding this phone on Best Buy's website. As far as a phone for under $250 that you can pick up same day, this is the best. When looking at the specs the LG Stylo 4 doesn't even stack up to this. I've had the phone for two weeks now and originally planned for it to be a temporary phone. Now I'm in no rush to get rid of it, I love it. It's got (for me) plenty of ram and processing speed. It's a great build, all aluminum and glass, comes with two cases, headphones, tempered glass screen protector, charger, etc. It's a beautiful phone as well. I would have never considered purchasing a Blu phone before, but they've really upped their game with this one. If you're looking for a quality budget phone, this is your beast.

I didn't want to spend $6-700.00 on a phone and decided to go with the XI. I had an iPhone 6 so it was a bit of an adjustment switching to Android but I like the phone. Good screen good battery life. Comes with 2 cases and a screen protector. So far I don't have any complaints

You will have to take a look at this phone if you own a Samsung Galaxy S series. I owned a galaxy S7 edge. BC6Believe me it's fast and Oreo 8.1 is better than the Android 7.0 Nougat. They promised to be upgraded to Android 9 Pie later. Camera is the best of kind. Will take beautiful pictures. And has two lens on rear. And it's 16megapixels. So it's sharp. But I leave it on 16: 9 wide angle mode. Still sharp. Love this phone. Just get a, 128g extra sd card and leave it on as internal storage. And phone does it all automatically. I give it 5 stars because it has solid feel on my hand. Also camera is the best. Try it out for couple days of test if you don't like it then return it. I will never return it. Also it is unlock so you can use it everywhere you go.

Been a few weeks now and no issues so far.
Only inconvenience is when I'm trying to close an app or mutlitask to another. Trying to bring up the virtual buttons to do that is sometimes a pain and I have to swipe multiple times.
Vs. my old iPhone 7, I feel this:
- is faster or as fast
- has better reception
- has better speakers
- more vibrant
- takes better pictures
32 GB is well enough. I bought a 32 GB expansion card and returned it.
Can't beat the value on this bad boy.
Plus
- Comes with case!
- ... and screen protector (which I didn't bother to put on)

I have no major complaints for this budget friendly smart phone. Camera is better than I expected, OS does not have a lagging problem most days. I did have an issue for a little while with apps crashing, but that seems to have resolved itself for now. Every once in a while it might start acting a little funny but nothing a restart can't handle. I suppose the simplest way I can put it, is that this phone doesn't make me think about it- or make me annoyed bc I'm waiting for it to do something; it just does what I need it to, when I need it to, fairly reliably. I am not a gamer, I do not use my phone to play games. The large majority of my daily usage is internet, email, social media, phone calls, texting, light occasional photography. The battery lasts a pretty long time, if I start the day with 100% I will be at 30% roughly 12-14 hrs later with my typical usage pattern. I've had this phone about a month, definitely worth the $200-especially compared to other phones.
It has micro usb, not USB C. It would've been nice to have the more current port, but it was not a deal breaker since I still have a lot of micro usb cables.

I was in need of a replacement phone so I stepped into my local store to see what was available in unlocked cell phones. This phone was the best purchase i could have made. Super clear and vibrant pictures. Lots of memory and lots of features included with the phone that i would not have expected at such a low price. So easy to navigate. Thanks Best Buy. You really are the BEST!!

I bought this phone for two reasons - I wanted an unlocked phone so I could use other carriers and my iPhone was failing to charge half the time. The BLU Vivo XI is comfortable to hold and use, runs the latest Android OS, comes with a protective case and glass screen protector. Also, the phone is relatively cheap - well under $200! It seems to do everything I need a phone for and then some. I would recommend this phone to anyone needing a replacement or second phone.
