I originally was going to go with a Huawei Mate SE, but felt the $200 range would be a bit underpowered. I went in to Best Buy and this phone was on display and after playing around with it and seeing all the features it comes with for only $300, I did what I dare not do and bought a semi expensive electronics device without doing my research. Glad I did! The thing with this phone is you're getting A LOT for the price. First, the 1080x2246 res screen looks really good. It's not AMOLED like the galaxy s lineup, but looks great. Has a 2ghz octacore processor and 4 gigs of RAM. I don't play games on my phone, but any semi intensive app I throw at it runs flawlessly. The design of the phone is even high quality (other than the chrome outer bezel. Glass back kind of how the galaxy s6 &7 had. Camera is good, but not amazing. low light looks ehh and focusing with this phone isn't the greatest, although the camera is instant and has zero lag whatsoever. speaker is loud, but can be distorted. Three features this phone has that a $300 phone might not usually have is wireless charging, Face ID and uses USB type C. Three huge pluses. The face ID is instant and works great, even in low light. Fingerprint scanner also works well. Battery life is great. Easily gets me through the day. Doesn't have a headphone jack, but comes with the adapter. My only issue with this is not being able to charge and listen to music at the same time unless you buy a different adapter. The phone comes with Two cases (not of high quality, but good until you get a decent one), a tempered glass screen protector, and headphones. The fact that Blu decided to include these items is awesome. I wish more phone companies would do this. Great phone especially for the price!

Nice metal build quality around the phone, durable plastic back which I prefer. I had a Moto E4 previous to this phone and this phone is at least 3x as fast. The battery life is AMAZING due to the slightly lower resolution screen and efficient processor. It gets around 7 hours of on screen time, which is very impressive in my opinion. Came with 2 cases, a glass screen protector (YAY) and some headphones. Only thing I wish that was improved was the quality of the cases included. They do not properly protect the front of the phone as there is no lip. I got the phone for $170 during the introductory offer which is incredible for the quality of the phone. I remember when unlocked phones were $500+ to start. Glad times are changing.

    Pretty Good Phone

Not a bad phone at all. I purchased this to replace my Mom's very old HTC. The box contained the phone, charger, ear buds, 2 plastic cases, 2 screen protectors (one installed, the other glass). Neither verizon nor best buy were immediately helpful in getting the phone up and running. I even called Blu. Since the phone is unlocked and new to verizon (no one was familiar with the phone), it took some time getting the settings right for the phone to operate without error. Finally vzw tech support was able to get things set right. Take care of this before you leave the store! The phone charges quickly, holds a charge all day with normal use. No complaints now that everything is working. 4 stars for the hassle of getting the phone up and running.

I'm coming from an iPhone X and wanted something unlocked and not an iPhone. I've fallen in love with this phone in the past few days. The battery last me all day (I'm a heavy phone user) Screen is bright and the camera is great for the price. You can't go wrong with this phone!

    Great Phone for the Price

This phone was a great replacement for an older Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. I like that it came with a case, headphones and cover for the price. It is a fast snappy phone and build with great quality and I didnt not have to finance a phone that cost upwards of 700 bucks. The only regret is that i didn't not get the XI+ Positives : Price Style Screen size Android Oreo Negatives: Accessories hard to find Should have gotten the XI +

This phone is a sleek long device, it has many features and is well worth it's money. It has some noticable weight to it, in hand it's solid. It has an amazing camera and I was suprised to find a front facing flash on a phone under 250$. The sound quality is amazing with dts sound software for music. Although my hands often get sweaty with the silicone gel case. The only downside is charging time. Which I understand on an 8 core phone with 3 gigs of memory

Just picked this phone up today 10/12 and got it activated on the T-Mobile network. I had an Lg G6 prior to this, I bought this just because its impressive price with the features it has. I have better service with this device than I did with my LG, That is very impressive alone!! I havent used it for more than a few hours now so I will have to report back later once I have more time with it. So far so good!!

The phone is super beautiful! The silver one has a really nice shine to it. If you are looking to own a pretty phone for low price, get it. But if you want more than just the looks then you might want to investigate other phones. Pros: Comes with alot of good things. cheepcheep price pretty design updated soft ware decent storage nice battery life cons: This phone does not come with a photo gallery which means you need to use an external app from the play store (lots of memory) or use to limited space gooele photo (uses a cloud). The display on the phonne is poor, the sharpness is low (makes the screen blurry) Costomization for the phone is bad. There is no way you can chang app icons. Most notable: You can not downlaods apps that are not in the plaly store. So say goodbye to all the moded aps. final thouhgts: I kinda regeret this purchase. all the things I liked about my old phone isnt on this one. But this new phone does have things my poopooop kodak phone didnt have before. If anything, if its still on sale, get the LG stylo 4. Personaly, I wish I had the Google pixle 2. That phone is a beast.

XI+ cheaper and better value all around.

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Just bought this phone yesterday and after dropping and cracking screen on XI+ I decided to try out the smaller version, figured it was a little more expensive than the XI+ because it was better in ways I wasn't aware of. IT'S NOT! Face unlock pales in comparison to the XI+, there is no raise-to-wake feature, it's using microUSB to charge instead of USB-C, and I still don't know if it supports wireless charging. Those are the bad. Now the good. Small, headphone jack, lighter weight, and ummm........ That's it! Even the XI+'s case with the beautiful mural is better, and this is the biggest reason I would not recommend this phone... Android 9(Pie) is STILL unavailable for the XI, the XI+ can receive it if you register on the BLU website. I may keep this phone because it IS a great phone, but once you've experienced the XI+ it's hard to not notice you've paid more for less.

Would not recommend at all !!!!! The phone is trash. I haven't been able to use the facial recognition or the finger print since I got the phone, either it doesn't work all together or every time you try to use it restarts the phone. I can't do anything on the phone because every 5 minutes it restarts when I'm using it and on top of that every time it restarts it takes a really long time for it to turn back on. It's not worth it save your money and buy a different phone.

    Gross Misrepresentation- Warning Verizon Cust.

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

This phone is advertised by BLU and Best Buy as being compatible with Verizon, Bought one yesterday at Best Buy- went through process with Verizon and phone still would not work. Tried to call BLU an guess what- closed. Called back today and snippy representative said phone is NOT compatible with Verizon without an upgrade, which will take 24 to 48 hours more to get, Very hesitant to believe them, since she said to call back IF WE HAVEN'T HEARD in 48 hours. So- we are 24 hours into a paperweight that may or may not work with our carrier.one to two more days from now. And to add insult to injury- Best Buy threatens a $35.00 FEE TO TAKE PHONE BACK. What a pathetic deal!

Works for CDMA (Verizon only) and GSM

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Let's clear up the confusion. The Vivo XI and XI Plus found at BestBuy definitely Verizon compatibility. (CDMA) HOWEVER, they won't work for other CDMA users like Sprint and US Cellular. If you have found these phone somewhere else like Amazon, the phones might not be Verizon-compatible.

Had to reset network settings twice already

Might change my review if I have no further problems. Picked this phone up at best buy 2 days ago, have waited for it to be available, I love the style and the way I handles. The bad thing is that suddenly I could not send messages or texts, then I could not use twitter. I reset the phone to factory settings and it worked for a while then it happened again then by chance I found the " reset network settings " and it worked again. I tweeted Blu yesterday about this but no responses yet. I'll give this phone a chance but if I have to reset network settings all the time it will go back and I will be done with BLU products.
