I can't believe I waited until I'd been working from home for three months to buy a quality external microphone. Before, it was a constant struggle of poor audio quality for my friends or colleagues, or wearing a headset that has decent audio quality, but tires the ears.
Now, I can comfortably talk with someone all day, and they can hear me clearly.
I went with the Yeti Nano instead of the full Yeti after calculating that this one would not obstruct viewing my monitor. It has done an excellent job of that.
Are there cheaper options that would have worked as well? Maybe. But if you're still working remotely and struggling with audio quality, I'd recommend going with this option. Offices aren't going to be re-opening anytime real soon, and it's a relatively affordable way to make the experience less unpleasant.

Amazing microphone for an amazing price ! People always comment on how much better I sound compared to my normal headset mic. I would recommend a filter, as well as making sure you have soundproof foam on the walls around you! When I first got the microphone people were able to tell I have wood flooring… Easy work around is bringing the microphone closer to your face ! All in all, microphone is amazing and works great! For the price, you can NOT beat it.

I bought this a few months ago and it works great. My usual recording software is Audacity, but the audio is so good (or so poor) that the test recordings had a significant amount of echo. I tried recording on the standard recording software that came with my computer and the Nano works perfectly. No echo or feedback. The Yeti recording software that you can download seems pretty pointless. Maybe it works for some, but for me, it didn't seem worth the extra hardware space.
It doesn't take up much space physically and is easy to set up and use.

I give this item 5 star's because it is a great item for it's price.
It is great for my games and works with my Playstation 5.
It is so clear when talking and it doesn't take up much space at all.

Just to cut to the chase,
This mic sounds amazing and is a compact size easy for travel and storage. It's great for streaming and basic recording.
It captures a wide range of highs and lows, and definitely is great for amateur and professional use.

Like almost everyone else in the last year, I have been working from home and using the mic in my USB camera. I got to hear a recorded meeting where I was talking and I really sounded horrible. I knew it was time to find a better mic.
I didn't do much research. I went to my local store and they had this in stock. Reading the features on the box and comparing it to the other ones they had there I decided to purchase this model (obviously).
It was really easy to install. Configuring with Zoom was a breeze and what a difference. It made me sound like an entire new person. Everyone commented how clear I was. I have had no issues with it and wouldn't hesitate getting this one again.

The way my desk is set up, the mic on my webcam was just not great for teaching my classes so I thought I'd try something a bit more suited for the task. Took a trip to my favorite Best Buy in Roseville, MI and found this Yeti Nano. Not hard to find as it seemed there had been a run on mics that day and there was only one left. Noting that the price was ok I thought I would take a chance. I got home and fired it up and after my first class, I knew that I had a good deal. I kept getting remarks from my students that they could hear me so much better and the sound quality was excellent. So, considering the price, the performance and the looks, I believe I made the best decision. An easy 5 stars from me!

I wanted to start a podcast for a little passion project I had and most of the other microphones I looked at were just a bit too expensive. This little Yeti Nano at just $100 is excellent. It plugs into my computer (or iPad with Lightning-to-USB adapter) and it just works. My voice sounds clear and free from outside noise or background fuzz.
If you need a reasonably priced microphone for starting out in VO or streaming, this is exactly what you need. Higher priced microphones will get you more features, but this gives you the necessities that will actually matter to you.
Also, be sure to download the Blue Sherpa software to your computer so you can control the gain because you can’t do that on the mic itself.

This mic has a stylish look and feel, it's lightweight and quick plug and play functionality into adobe audition. It swivels nicely and I like how the base keeps the cord hidden behind the stand.

This microphone sounds very good and others even comment on it. It is a good value for the money. Light and easy to attach to a stand or just free standing. I would purchase again.

First, I own the Blue Yeti, which is the big brother of the Nano.
The Yeti Nano is no different than the big brother version, except that it has a couple of features that's missing and honestly, you dont even need them.
It's a basic mic, but does have the same amazing audio quality as the big brother version.
It's very easy to use, but you do have to download an app from the Blue site to do some minor configurations. Nothing hard or too advanced.
If you're on the fence between the Nano and the large version, I say go with the Nano.

The microphone quality for recording is excellent much better than the built-in microphone on my computer or iPad. The one drawback is the connection of the MicroUSB that goes into the Microphone is weak and seems easily damaged and the chord that came with the Microphone had a bad connection (once replaced it worked). If they could find a way to make that more secured, then I would rate it 5 stars. By the way, on the iPad, the normal video/camera app doesn't work with this external microphone but Garageband does. You need to find another video recording app if you need the microphone for an improved video AND audio recording.

Premium sounding microphone that is excellent for gaming, calls or podcasting. It has a great build quality and is heavy enough that it won’t slide all over your desk. I highly recommend using NVIDIA Broadcast, which is integrated right into the BLUE app for use by NVIDIA graphics card owners. This is a very sensitive mic that will pic up echos if your room isn’t soundproofed. NVIDIA Broadcast sorts that right out. Would buy again.

I love this mic, my friends love this mic, my audience loves this mic, you will love this mic.
Got this because I bought the last Yeti X at my local Best Buy and it was defective and this is what they had by Yeti. Kind of forced upon me but I do love the mic. It took me awhile to get my own settings down in the software but after that? Nothing but beauty!
Small in comparison to its brother the Yeti X, one less knob, and 2 channels instead of 4. Half the add-ons but half the size.

For under $100, this microphone will be all I need for my recording and VC needs. It's easy to use and set up. Me and people I talk to online have noticed a difference in quality compared to built-in microphones with the headphones I use. Going to keep this mic around for years.

This smaller Yeti mic is just as powerful as its predecessor but has a smaller footprint and a smaller price tag too! If you have a conference room that is used for video conferences, do yourself a favor and buy this Yeti Nano! It really does a great job at picking up omni directional audio. Same quality as the original!
