Overall I like the look and quality of the mic. It was easy to setup and voice quality is good. I mainly use it for handsfree conference calls.

My company was having a Zoom meeting for the first time. My laptop has a built in microphone but due to the type of meeting it was, wanted a higher quality microphone. This item had excellent reviews, easy to install, and was in stock at the same location the camera I purchased was so I pulled the trigger. Pulled into the store parking lot and within 5 minutes, out came a blue shirt delivering my new toys. When I installed it, everything was fine. It was a plug and play situation. When I went out the Zoom test site, it was hearing my voice and playing it back on the computer speakers just like it was supposed to so I figured everything was OK. The first day we used it, we had issues. Even though Zoom was hearing everything OK, the person on the other end of the meeting couldn't. We wound up using cell phones to get through that day's meeting. I tried to figure out what was wrong with it that night and just couldn't for the life of me. Next day came back in and played around with the settings. This time, I figured out what the issue was and saved the settings. When we logged onto the Zoom call, they were able to hear us AOK. So when you get this, make sure you double check the settings and confirm the correct microphone is being used. It has two settings: omnidirectional where it listens for everything so an ideal solution for a conference call with multiple people in a room; and directional which is ideal for just one and it should also get rid of any reflections off the wall. Has a mute button. And the stand is great to use. It even comes with an aluminum adaptor if you want to hang it off a boom stand like how you see in radio stations.

Easy plug n play. Nothing more nothing less. Blue yeti is one of the cheaper option for all streamers allowing crisp sound output making your stream vocal more soothing without the hassle of needing a more expensive microphone. This thing works like a charm. Would highly recommend to anyone and everyone who is in need for a starting microphone or just a simple microphone that you can count on for maximum output.

I think its a perfect beginner mic heard so many good things about it so I had to give it a shot

After my Blue Snowball crapped out after over 10 years of service, it was time for a replacement. Obviously I was getting another Blue mic (this brand is the best in the business), and decided to get the Yeti mini rather than a full size version due to limited workspace. Needless to say this smaller mic holds its own with the big boys. Plug it in and get clear recordings in any app (I use most Audacity and PowerDirector for voiceovers), and you can switch between recording modes with the push of a button, as well as mute the mic entirely. It’s a compact but powerful mic for anyone who works from laptops or just simply doesn’t want to cramp their workspace, and as said before, I trust Blue for their reliable and sturdy craftsmanship, so here’s to another 10 years of service!

For most uses, this is a great mic. If someone works in the voiceover industry, this mic will do the job but there are better microphones out there for this purpose. I guess it could be fine for VO auditions. For voiceovers and song vocals, I would suggest the Samson G-Track Pro which also has an interface for one input/instrument.

use the blue software when registering the mic online!! great mic i use it on my pc for gaming comms!!
