It sounds great but you do need to buy the filter which is sold separately to drown out sound. It does a good job without it but you can tell a big difference with the filter.

Prior to this purchase, I splurged on a pair of Blue headphones and have never regretted my decision. Unlike many headphones on the market, these were made to last. I needed to do some high quality voice recording and I tried a musician level microphone and a analog/digital converter. This set-up is complicated and I wasn't happy with the results. I decided to go with a USB microphone and Blue was the obvious choice. It's well made, metal housing not plastic, and has a variety of features. One the is really handy is the pattern selection switch. It makes the microphone very versatile. The mic is hooked up and I use for all applications from Zoom to recording. In addition to upgrading my microphone, I also upgraded my camera. Zoom calls look and work much better if you upgrade from the standard laptop cameral/microphone. Pick Blue for your microphone.

Decent quality but lacks durability

But they dont last very long if you move your mic around. The inside components are very old and designed over a decade ago. Have had to replace this mic 3 times in the past 4 years or so

Part of my live streaming package for recording videos remotely and in studio the perfect pair I highly recommend these mics to anybody for any reason that they need a good quality high quality mic perfect.

Took a long time to get the settings to work, not easy to determine which settings to use. But through the instruction manual and trial and error, ppl say can hear me good now , even when i have surround sound music playing simultaneously. The multiple types of sound pick up available meets the need of all conditions for various situations this mic might be used for. Good product.

Could Not Be Happier

No hissing Ss or Poppin Ps - just my raw southern draw. It also does an excellent job at recording music such as acoustic guitar or playing through an amp along with a song coming through your computer output. You will be happy with this microphone.
