1st Time Mic Buyer Falls in Love

Great quality- in fact, if you tend to be someone who fidgets I reccommend getting a boom arm to pair with it as the desk stand it comes with will pick up the sound of placing or clicking pens/tapping/leg bouncing. I havent needed a pop filter or windscreen for this mic. Though I know some people like to add them on, it's not a given necessity like some mics require.

If you haven't done so already and for some added value and benefit, I highly suggest that you download Blue's Sherpa companion app https://www.bluemic.com/en-us/products/sherpa/. Sherpa allows you to get the latest firmware updates downloaded directly to your Yeti and also lets you customize mic settings like gain. Easy plug and play mic great for voice recording and video conferencing. Great low-latency recording for a USB mic, without lugging out a big, expensive interface. The construction is rock solid, and the mic is aesthetically pleasing, as well. Dialing in your sound can take some time and patience, but even raw audio with this mic is great.

Sherpa will allow you to keep your Yeti's firmware up to date by downloading any updates directly to your microphone. It also allows you to customize your mic settings from gain to polar patterns (customizable settings vary depending on which Blue mic is connected). Excellent microphone for studio quality audio

My office is not set-up for audio. I don't have sound dampening materials. Just this mike sitting on my desk, and me talking into it. Between this and Audacity, I've been able to make the audio for several training videos, and they sound superb! Forget the "WOULD you recommend to a friend"; I already did.

Best mic to invest in

Great choice.... Not to expensive but really is worth getting... Highly recommend getting this!!! Its helpful. Apple support is helpful and honest and patient but most of all Cherish and value thru customers satisfaction and are all professional for sure!!! This Mic was the best thing going I had to buy two for my prince and princess!!! sound is perfect nice and sturdy still in brand new condition to this very day!!!!!!!

Perfect for gaming and streaming

It's easy to use and has delivers quality sound. I did return this mic in exchange for the Blue Yeti caster bundle which includes the same mic, plus a pretty good quality boom arm, and shock mount. It's a way better value than purchasing those items separately.

Nice Mic

I watched a few Youtube videos to learn the best settings for my needs and was using it pretty much right away without any problems. I'd also recommend watching video reviews if you're on the fence about buying so you can see it in action. As everyone says, it's massive, but it's a good height for use at my desk and I'm happy I got it because the audio in my videos is so much better now.
