Nice Mic

I watched a few Youtube videos to learn the best settings for my needs and was using it pretty much right away without any problems. I'd also recommend watching video reviews if you're on the fence about buying so you can see it in action. As everyone says, it's massive, but it's a good height for use at my desk and I'm happy I got it because the audio in my videos is so much better now.

Works fine as a Home Studio Microphone

It's quite easy to set up and easy to switch between focused on one speaker; focused for interviews picking up bidirectional, or picking up the full sound space if you were broadcasting something like a group of people around a table for example. The distinctive color identifies this model. It's compact and easily portable.

Versatile microphone

However, there are settings for instrumentalists and with experimentation of distance, heights and for different types of pieces, it makes the harp sound well! I’m also pleased that with some additional Adaptors, it’s possible to use when recording with my Smartphone !

Must have for the videographer in your family.

Didn't know what to get my daughter who has everything and its hard to shop for creatives but this she did not have. She is going to school for Film and video production and this item works well for voice over projects she uses it for her entire crew. The quality and sound is amazing for her projects compared to what she was using before.

If you get one, you need to press the on/off button on the bottom of the microphone. Otherwise you will wonder why it is not working. Also, experiment with the audio settings to learn which is best for your environment.

Louder instruments are good too (ex. trumpet) - BUT you have to be farther away from the microphone - there is a gain nob, but it doesn't turn down enough, so placement is key! PLUG and PLAY technology - most computers automatically connect with the USB.
