I already had one Yeti mic with a desk stand when I bought the Yeticaster. The mic is great. I like the selectable patterns. With my Macs it is literally plug and play. I will be using them for a major narration project. I also am using them daily to make and receive phone calls using the wi-fi calling feature on my I phone. MY only complaint is that the arm is somewhat difficult to position. I had hoped to clamp it behind my monitor and place the mic just above the screen. My set up didn't allow that so I ended up with the mic off to one side in order to get the position I wanted. It works OK, but the arm joints need to be tightened down in order for everything to stay in place. I have used other booms in broadcasting that had springs to put tension on the arm. Not as cool looking, but they work. The mic is where I want it. However, you can't reposition it without messing with the tension adjustments. Sound and sensitivity are excellent.

The clamp connector was not particularly durable. Did not overtighten and the jaw snapped off. I was able to reattach (more securely) by using a drill press to bore out the screw and bolt the jaw back onto the screw. Aside from that, the rest of the boom arm (tension rods, thumb adjusters, shock mount) are all excellent. The Blue Yeti microphone has a well-deserved reputation for quality. I am using this almost exclusively for recording university-level course lectures and the quality difference (even without post-processing) between the Blue Yeti and my headset or webcam microphones is substantial. It would have been nice for a pop filter to be included, but adding a pop filter was not a big deal. The pop filter weight does make adjusting the boom arm a little trickier, but nothing too problematic. One final note is that I was extra pleased that Best Buy had not marked this product up by 50-100% like every other vendor I looked at.

I bought this product for the ease of getting a mic and the arm so it doesnt take up space on my desk and has the ability to easily move out of my way when not using. It has great quality sound for not being xlr. Blue makes great products would recommend any of their mic's!

Great mic bundle. The microphone is okay, better than any headset mic at least, the real value is in the high quality arm and shock mount.

Easy set up, great motion, lots of adjustments, easy plug and play with windows 10. Only complaint is how Windows wants to recognize it as an output (speaker). It’s a semi easy fix by unplugging and plugging in the usb. The sound it picks up is great.

It is a high quality mic that is really easy to use. I was able to set it up and start using it within 20 minutes if opening the box. However you should research how to set it up properly so whoever is listening doesn’t hear every creak of your chair or fan in the background.

Great product. Easy setup. Great function. Uses a very simple but effective software program just an overall quality product.

I bought this thinking it was just the Boom arm. It came with a Black Yeti! for the cost its well worth the price to get this with the microphone included. Good Quality, just don't try to tighten anything super tight, the weight of the mic on the boom arm holds it in place.

I am a teacher dealing with virtual learning. I am also a PC gamer and quite familiar with Blue Yetis. Since my "classroom" is now my desk, every square inch is precious to me as I shuffle through a million resources for 4 different content areas. The Yeticaster solved a lot of issues for me by clearing some space and making my ability to move around while I am teaching possible. The kids noticed immediately when I went from the crappy laptop mic to this thing, and at least a dozen other teachers in my building have asked what it is and how do they get one. I have mine mounted on the back of a shelf approximately 2 feet above my desk, and it easily reaches down to mouth level. The tension screw in the base takes a little experimentation, but once it is dialed in, this thing is good to go. The cable management system works perfectly.

Great Sound and deal. Usually the microphone retails for $120 and the stand for more than $100 if you can even find it. It is easy to set up and set to the right height and direction. I would really recommend it.

I had a standard gaming microphone before this, and I can say the quality is great. Right now I'm using it to stream on twitch and broadcast my podcast on youtube, and it comes out clear. The boom arm is a little tricky to figure out how to place, but it's great.

I love my Yeti Mic! The sound quality is very good and it's easy to set up and use with the arm.

I have purchased two of these now, for streaming, and I love them. Both have been working great. The only things I would be careful of when using this is making sure you set up the arm correctly so it's facing the right way. I had it the wrong way for a bit and it caused problems. The other thing is not over tightening the screws on the arm because they will break with too much tension. I did not get the GSP (don't know how I forgot) and one of the screws broke, due to my lack of paying attention, and I contacted Blue about the issue. They worked with my and got my RMA approved and within 2 weeks I had a new arm and it's working great. Highly recommend this kit if you're looking to get your first good setup for streaming!

The Yeticaster is a great bundle for those interested in starting their own podcast or stream but also don't want to deal with too many cables and boxes. It's a simple, plug and play microphone that sounds great for being a USB mic and comes with a heavy duty boom arm and shock mount. MSRP of the Blue Yeti is $130, the Compass is arm $100 and the Radius III Shock Mount is $50 so you're saving a bit of cash by getting this. Just know that the bundle does NOT come with the Blue Yeti's desktop stand but with the included boom arm, there's no need for it in my opinion. I recommend watching a youtube video on how it's assembled to get the tension on the arm just right. The only thing that you'd need to buy separately is a pop filter.

I do a lot of streaming and sometimes sound clips, this mic has been perfect for this. I have it connected to my desk and it does not fail me. The shock rig really cancelled out all the bumping and movement on my desk A+

Really a top notch piece of equipment and affordable. I bought this so I would have to look like an air traffic controller with my headset on during Zoom meetings! Great for recording web content, podcasts, etc.
