I work for a fully-remote company, so I spend a lot of time on videoconferences. I also record a lot of videos that are distributed as Marketing assets for my employer. This mic has significantly upped the audio quality. The directional modes seem to work well, and the arm definitely seems to dampen keyboard clicking (though if you have an OG clacky keyboard, good luck with any mic). I could certainly get marginal gains by going with a more pro-level mic, but for routine work and most podcasting situations, I can't see the point of spending the money to get there. At this price point, for a USB mic, I'm super-duper happy.

it sounds great and looks gound my one problem is that the arm is pretty stiff I adjusted it as​ it says but it just stays stiff but other than that it is great microphone shock mount and arm

If you're an entry-level podcaster, you're in luck. The Yeticaster is a pretty good value for money. Sound is good and clear. The build of the arm can be a bit janky depending on the angle you want to record. Overall good purchase.

The mic arm itself is a toughie to figure out at first especially with the tension system, but once it’s balanced properly it’s amazing. As far as the Blue Yeti itself goes, you really can’t go wrong.

I bought this microphone as part of a streaming setup I was putting together. The audio is very good with minimal background noise. However, I highly recommend downloading the Logitech GHub to further adjust the audio settings to make your voice sound even better and clearer. This will also help fine tune the mic to not pick up key and mouse clicks. Only downside is I wish the bottom arm would rotate 180° instead of only 90°. This makes it so you can only have the mic hanging upside down which could be bothersome to some. I’ve gotten use to it, but it can still be in the way at times.

Pretty easy setup and extremely, crystal clear sound. Only knock I have for it is that when setting up to the right height the arm likes to move up on it's own.

Love it! Microphones are specific to the speaker, so please test out mics to match your vocal range. In fact, check out youtuber reviews and find a host that has your vocal range. The Yeti picks up my tones perfectly. Having the gain adjustment on the mic helps me fine tune my style pre-editing. Saves me loads of time. The boom arm is a bit lacking. Sure it’s beautiful, but the middle hinge is way to strong on the tension. Be careful, you will break it if you try to over tighten it! This setup requires the shock mount and yeti to weight it down. Consider adding an ankle weight on your boom to bring it down.

Getting great use out of this boom stand. Keeps out of the way. There was too much tension on mine which I had to take it apart and add a bit to the cable to fix. It was an open box buy so that might not be the case for everyone. The microphone is really awesome for the value. Recordings sound clear without picking up too much outside of the selection.

I was a bit concerned about the cost compared to what we got. I was mistaken. This Yeti is easy to use, customizable. and super clear. I am a big fan. It is worth the money.

I picked this up to record voice over PowerPoint presentations for teaching and it was exactly what I needed. The audio quality if great and being able to hear yourself through connected headphones helps a lot. The pattern selector is a great feature, it helped to reduce background noise tremendously (I can only do so much to sound dampen my office). Don't expect it to be the greatest microphone in the world but it punches way above its price point and the compass arm is super high quality, no squeaks or spring sounds like you get from inferior mic mount arms. The microphone is also pretty well isolated so knocks on teh desk and vibrations don't transfer too much.

I was worried at first when I open this new mic, thinking maybe I bought the wrong one. It was so easy to set up and the base is nice and big so not to damage my desk. The movement is great and easy to turn and adjust. The sound is great sound Quality for the professionals and creators.

Beautiful sound quality, very easy to plug in and use. Have used it for live sessions and studio recording, and YouTube videos and it works for everything

I have two blue yetis. On one computer, I have the Yeti sitting on the desk, and it's the type of desk that has the PC on a tall shelf. I get a little hum that I can hear when I play back the recordings. I put an old folded up tee shirt under the mic, and the noise is substantially reduced. So, when I got this setup, I was excited to see if the boom would isolate the Yeti well enough to eliminate the hum-- and it did!! It's also nice that it doesn't take up any desk space. I just have it hovering over my monitor. I can pivot it to me if I want, but it's not necessary, because the mic pics up sound real well.

The Yeticaster has great audio and the arm works with ease. I would recommend it to anyone who needs this type of mic or is looking to capture good audio.

Although the pricing can be seen as absurd, this microphone is worth every penny. The stand is premium compared to any cheap option that can be found on Amazon. The Blue Yeti itself is aesthetically appealing, and sounds amazing. I would highly recommend this combination to anyone. Even though this product is advertised primarily to streamers, this is still a viable option to anyone wanting a premium sounding Microphone. The only complaint I had with this was the setup process. The instructions weren't the most clear (You may find them better). Be sure to Watch out and not bend the stand arm back the wrong way. It can snap very easily.
