Wonderful! Works instantaneous. As soon as I smell smoke outside I turn this on and it works immediately to clean the air. The low setting is quiet. The medium setting is loud enough for you to have to raise the volume of the TV 1 or 2 notches. The Loud setting is way too loud to use however I've never had to use it because the medium setting is enough for my house

This is a great air purifier for the price. It was easy to put together to get working and is fairly quiet so you would hardly notice it when it's on. It is also light weight enough to easily move around from room to room in my house. There are also two washable pre-filters that serve to remove bacteria, among several other particles in the air, that I really like.

Got this for our only fully carpeted room to help with the recent smoky air AND, ideally, to help with my dust allergies. I’m impressed with the quiet on the lowest setting AND that I can feel the air movement from across the room even while it’s on its lowest setting - a confirmation that the air is indeed circulating. I wish it had its own indicator of how well it’s working. It is a bit noisier on higher settings but not in a bad way; a low background hum that provides some white noise that’s good while working (not so good for TV or napping maybe)

Did a lot of research and this and the smaller blu air get great ratings. Works great ...highly recommended.

I like that this runs very quiet on low speed - which is pretty much all I use it on. Although this unit is kind of pricey, I heard it may help with viruses, and I just want cleaner air, too. I have a (short-hair) cat, and I still notice dust and cat hair accumulations here and there, so I don't know if it helped at all in that regard. I also have been using expensive furnace filters, so I'm doubling down on trying to clean the air. My wife has sneezing fits occasionally, and I can't tell if it's been helping her yet or at all.

We bought this model after reading the many positive reviews from other pet owners, We were not disappointed. This machine is very quiet. It runs on the medium setting 24/7 and has done a wonderful job in the area where our two large dogs stay while we are at work during the day. No more dog smell when you walk into the room. We are going to order another one to use upstairs. Great product!

As I reported on another Blueair product, these are fantastic. Really keep the air clean especially when there are fires going on outside. I run 4 Blueair air purifiers at all times throughout the day and night. Highly recommend this one especially. This is on the bigger side.

Can definitely tell the difference in air quality. Light in weight for its size. Quietest setting is easy to sleep with on. Easy to operate.

Originally bought during California fires due to the Wirecutter recommendation, and now I have three of them to cover my entire home. The filters are pricy, but each time I replace them I can see the garbage I would have breathing in otherwise. For me they are worth it.

I recently moved into a new home which caused me to have daily sinus headaches and intense allergies. I began running this machine once and night and haven’t had an occurrence except for the one night I forgot to run it. On the low setting it’s too quiet to notice, but even the high setting noise is calming to sleep to. Highly suggest for clearing small areas.

Very impressed with these air purifiers. Bought two so far and will likely get a third. We have a just under 4,000 sq ft home. Having one for each of the three floors would be ideal. Highly recommend this product. Bought after reading up on air purifiers on Consumer Reports. Best one on the market and not the highest priced according to the CR info.

Quiet at low speed.I have it in my bedroom and during the day I have it on high speed with door open. At night I have it on low with door closed. Keeps air clean and odor free. I just changed the outer filter and noticed it has dust particles on it so I guess it's doing the job.

Wished I had purchased this Hepa air purifier years ago. Cleans the air of the smell of smoke from my neighbor’s apartment and also when I cook. It’s quiet and doesn’t seem to use a lot of electricity. Hope it’ll last a long time, I’ve only had it about a month.

We have two of these 211 & the next size down. We use the 211 in the main living area which 1200 sq feet and we can totally tell the difference. The smaller one in the bed room not as much. We have dogs and hard woods in the entire house which before the filter was very dusty. Once we got the filter the dust went away. On high it can be a little loud but nothing horrible.

It is quiet and not excessively large or intrusive. It is hard to say if it is filtering everything since most of it is probably not visible. I had two units (one on each level of the house. I did wash the pre-filters after two weeks because there was visible dust on them. I have only had the units a few weeks at this point.

Air feels cleaner. Very quiet. Easy to transfer to other areas of the house.

We have 3 large breed dogs in the house, so was looking for something to help with the smell and hair. We couldn’t tell that much of a difference the first week but now we definitely can. We run it on low all day and turn it off at nighttime. It’s very quiet and I will buy the smaller ones for the bedrooms.

Easy to get it set up - and it looks good. I used it to clear the smell of a new foam mattress topper as I let it expand and off-gas, and it seemed to help. On Low, it really is whisper quiet - louder on Med and High. I don't use it all the time - I bought it to deal with smoke after the big fires last summer.

The unit was very easy to assemble. I've now had it running for about a week and I can say that it is fairly quiet and sits doing its thing all day and night. However, in all honesty I don't know a thing about air purifiers. I'm assuming that my air is a lot cleaner now than before so that's a good thing. If anyone knows how to measure the before and after, please let me know.

First time purchase of a air purifier. Purchased this product after reading the review on consumer reports. It is very quite and has made a difference to the air quality as my wife's allergy levels have gone down significantly. It is bulky so had to find a appropriate spot in the living room.
