the Blueair Blue Pure 211+ is 3 things, in order of importance: 1. Effective - the purifier can ramp up to a really powerful fan speed, and the filter / pre-filter combo works great 2. Quiet - the automated mode makes it so the air quality in my living room is excellent, but most of the time it is quite silent. I will hear it ramp up when I'm cooking something on high heat in the kitchen, or if the AQI is spiking in my area. Even then, it is quite quiet compared to even smaller air purifiers I have used in the past 3. Cute - It is difficult for a bulky air purifier to appear attractive to the eye. This model is about as close as you'll get to a modern, good-looking piece of furniture.

Like: * Simple * Very Quiet * Automatic Dislikes: none yet. I've really enjoyed having the Blueair Blue Pure 211 so far. When plugging it in, there's a single button on the top. There's no configuration, and mercifully it doesn't require access to the internet. It just works. It is very quiet. We also like how it's automatic. Interestingly enough, the Blueair kicks into high gear when there's cooking activity in the kitchen. I always thought the flavors in the house were a good thing, the Blueairs automatic effort to scrub them out quickly leads me to think maybe our kitchen exhaust hood arrangement is insufficient. No complaints about this so far at all.

Recently purchased this for my living room near the back door. Helps keep any orders from our 2 dogs to a minimum. Very quite, has multiple modes depending on environment.

Quiet efficient air purifier. Ramps up and cleans the air when cooking and when other aerosols are detected (hairspray). We bought another one because the work so well.

BlueAir Blue Series has the best CADR rates among any competitor in this price range. Companies like Dyson and a few others have gimmicky sensors which do not anything to actually clean the air, but to give you only a semi-accurate reading of your air quality. Best advice I give is purchase a good purifier with a high CADR rate and use it, you should be able to tell a difference in air quality for regular use. If you need an air quality monitor, purchase one of those.. but do not skimp on the CADR rate just to overpay a manufacturer for a sub standard sensor that hooks up to your smartphone or has a cool graph.

Best product is a good product. It covers pretty much her living room and kitchen keeps her air cleaning, especially when you have pets for us. We have two cats of bird and a lot of dust is now limited and it's been going away and breathing is much more more easier. Remember shop Best buy

Great Xmas gift!! It starts to work when we cook things in the kitchen, even though this is in the next room. Surprisingly quiet. Easy to clean too.

Purchased this air purifier about a month ago to see if it would help with my daughter’s allergies. I would say so far we have seen a difference in the overall air quality. It runs quiet and is easily hidden in a corner near a side table.

Purchased it for my sons bedroom to help with allergies and it has helped tremendously. Very easy to use and it’s design flows well with any room decor.

This purifier acts like it has artificial intelligence. It can sense the amount of contaminants in tge air and adjust its fan speed. Amazing!!

Wow, the air not only smells fresh, it even FEELS fresh, and we have it in a room with a litter box! My only complaint is the slightly whistly sound the fans makes, which I would not be able to handle in a bedroom, but in the living room I only notice it when it's quiet. I am also hyper aware of and sensitive to all sounds, even very quiet ones, so that might just be me being me. Also my cat likes to sit on top, and sometimes she presses the power button, so the placement of that could have been a little better for cat owners.
