Five stars for "Blue Pure 211i Max"- I recommend to get that model instead

The unit looks great, more like a piece of decor than an appliance. Setup was as simple as can be (just plug it in), and it is so quiet that when it is running on “auto” and the air is “clean”, you can’t even tell it’s running without holding your hand up to it; even on high, it isn’t an annoying sound. Bought a second (smaller) unit for the bedroom and might buy a 3rd.

You can feel it within 20 minutes of initially turning it on. The sensor is spot on when it senses air pollution, or when cooking and clears it right up. Highly highly recommend this for families, people with children and pets, to reduce allergens and overall breathe better.

It's very quiet at normal speed and stylish. High speed will make more sound but that's not real necessary for normal use. The controls are on the top center so you'll need to be able to look down to see them. This could be important if you planned to have it underneath something.

The difference in my allergies is huge, and compared to other purifiers that weve tried, such as Honeywell, this is far superior. It doesnt give off that gross smell that the honeywell did, filters are better and cheaper and last much much longer. Im only sad we didnt buy it sooner.

Died after 18 months of use

When we were cleaning the house, we could hear it automatically kick into a higher filtration mode, so seemed like the sensor worked. Unfortunately, just completely died after 18 months. All of a sudden it wouldn't turn on. Seems like something costing $350 that just passively runs should last longer.
