Really does the job, the air is much cleaner. I ended up buying 2 smaller ones.

The purifier helps me breath better between dust and cat fur.

Apparently based on the device measurement, the air quality in our house is good. The device automatically measure it once you turn it on. The problem that our house has is dust and dog hair. We have a small dog that has a very short hair. His hair doesn't shed that much but we can see them everywhere around the house. And we live in a complex that is still under construction so dust is all over the house. We placed the air purifier in the living room, next to our record player. Prior to having this air purifier, we always saw a light dust and dog hair all over the amplifier and the record player cover. Worse yet, the dust and the dog hair also get inside the LP - even though they were kept inside plastic sleeves. We also place this air purifier next to the door that lead to the backyard and set the device on auto. I don't know yet how much effect it has in the LP record but I have to say that I can see the difference on how much less dust or hair collected on top of the stereo equipments with this device near by -it's almost non existence. The device is supposed to cover about 550 square feet areas. Either you get another one if you have a house bigger than that or move it around if certain areas get really bad. This is a pretty big device though. However, it has a very simple design and should not interfere with aesthetic of any decor. It is running very quietly. I often run my hand on top of the device just to make sure that I can feel the wind from the moving fan. In conclusion, I would recommend this device for its quietness, the simple design, and easy to use.

I live in a large house with a lot of pets and a lot of air to move. My criteria when looking for an air purifier was something that looks nice, moves a ton of air and is very quiet. This machine meets and exceeds my expectations in all areas. The triple filter system does a great job of filtering out dust, dander and other particles in the air, With my wife and I having allergy issues, we have decided to put this in our bedroom and this is large enough to handle a room three times the size of this room. We can’t even hear it running, yet it is filtering at a rate of five times per hour. That’s replacing the air every 12 minutes. I have noticed that I no longer wake up with morning sniffles and no longer have my normal morning allergy issues. I look forward to seeing how this does in the next couple of months when allergy season is in full swing. I have only used the automatic setting and it adjusts when necessary. There is no need to override this setting. It fits nicely in an open spot in the room and looks nice. As large as it is, it isn’t overwhelming. I am looking to purchase a smaller unit for my bedroom and moving this to a larger family room in the near future. There is a filter replacement plan available from Blue Air and it looks like replacement should happen every six months. I highly recommend the replacement plan so that a person doesn’t forget to replace them when necessary. This is the first air purification systems that I have owned, but it performs well and I plan to purchase one for each floor.

A great air purifier, but a bit noisy on the top setting. Good for white noise at night though! I have noticed a difference inside my home.
