This air purifier was purchased after much research comparing other makes and models. So far I am impressed with the air quality and how quiet it operates. Other reviews say that they are having issues with the air sensors but this is not a problem with my unit. We are using it in our living room and the air sensors pick up odors when we cook and quickly cleans the air and removes the cooking odor.

Bought this new model to move my old 211+ to a different room. The fabric prefilter is a lot better than the old style. Somehow dust would get through and build up on the top outlet holes. That does not seem to be an issue on this model. Also, out of the 4 prefilters I have for the 211+, 2 of them have started to unravel from the washing machine even on delicate. This model does not have a metal cage for the prefilter to go over. Instead, the fabric prefilter goes directly over the filter and the filter over the plastic housing that the top fan assembly twist locks onto. Seems to work fine. However, you would think this would result in some savings passed onto the customer, but my guess is the new wifi capability and the air sensors drive the price back up. I would prefer a model without wifi as the app does not add much besides a graph over time for the air sensors and the ability to set the fan speed between 0-100% instead of 4 preset fan speeds. At first I thought the air quality sensors did not work, but one night they were detecting concentrations of 28-37 and when I woke up in the morning it was back to 0-3. Not sure what polluted the air, but it does seem like the sensors are working. I do not have the ability to measure the decibels of the two models, but I find the sound this one makes at full speed more annoying that the 211+. The top fan assembly does have some plastic clips that hold it together that out of the box were not clipped. I was able to clip them with some effort.

I love this purifier. It is so easy to control from the app over wifi. I have it in an open floor plan where I like to cook. The smell from my food can be removed by running it full blast for 30 minutes as needed. I otherwise keep it on Auto! Great product, I have 2, may get 1 more to cover my whole home!!

Air filtration is important to me as I suffer from Asthma. Got a Dyson standard purifier prior and it was really good. We got a Dyson humidifier/purifier combo next that broke 3 times and had known issues so I was a bit sick of dealing with Dyson. We got this one and it’s wonderful. Does a phenomenal job filtering the air and is quiet. Truly a great air filter at an affordable price.

Super quiet, easy to operate, literally just set it and forget it !!

I purchased this 3 weeks ago. This is a great product. Very sensitive, I placed this in front of my archway that divides the living room and dinning room. It picks up pollutants as soon as I open my front door. Helps with dust also. Would highly recommend.

I have COPD on 7l of oxygen a minute, and I can tell a great difference in the air quality in our house. I would recommend this to anyone looking to improve the air quality of their home.

This is with no doubt the most advanced of Blue Air's purifier. Not only does it clean the air in my living room and dining room, it also tells you how many ppm particles are in the air. I wasn't expecting that. I have the 311 max to handle the game room and kitchen and a couple of 411 max to handle two bedrooms. My brother-in-law just visited with my sister. He is highly asthmatic. He did not experience any problems breathing during his visit.
