This thing works great. I keep it on the auto setting and it just does it's own thing. Love that you can wash the prefilter, I can already see the dust it's collected after just a few weeks.

Had this a little over a year and now it’s dead. Won’t turn on at all. No lights , nothing. Of course it died after the 1 year warranty ran out. For this price point, one would think that it would last longer than a year. My $100 3M machine lasted over 3 years before it started to wear down. Contacted customer service and the help I got was “but did you try to turn it on and off??? Did you try to unplug and plug it in??” Omg, you don’t say!!??

Using this Blueair 211i Max has been a delight so far as I think it’s definitely an important thing to have clean indoor air to provide a better quality of life. Here are my thoughts so far: PROS: - The design itself is truly stylish! Very simplistic yet modern and the purifier is not heavy at all given its larger size. - Setup was a breeze too! Nothing to put together, just take it out of the box and plug it in. After that you just need to download the Blueair app - which technically you do not “need” the app to use the air purifier but it offers a lot of information and can tell you when your filter is getting low and you can buy a new one straight from the app. - As advertised, the purifier is very quiet! The physical buttons allow you to put it in auto mode, night mode, or its levels of 1-4. If you use the app, you can slide the fan level from 0-100% for more exact levels. That being said, at 1 speed it is very quiet but still produces a nice air output. - Speaking of that output, I could instantly notice a difference in the air quality while using it! The air smelt much better and was producing it in a wide area of my larger space I put it in. - I do really like the size of this. Yes it is “bigger” but that is because it can cover a lot of square footage! I think with the design it easily blends in anyways CONS: - When the fan is on auto or night mode, it almost seems louder than on level 1. It’s almost like the fan is running in such a low mode, that you can hear it moving more so than if it was going faster. Maybe that is just my experience, and to be clear it’s still very quiet but I thought it was odd. - The filter replacements do cost around $70 but I am not sure how often I will have to replace it. That being said, still a nice value over time. BOTTOM LINE: - Especially in 2023 when allergies and outdoor pollutants are becoming worse and worse, it is a huge value to have an indoor Air Purifier. The Blueair 211i Max is a very stylish looking device that fits in nicely with your larger space and produces fresh air without even noticing it’s there. The app is really well designed and easy to use, and I am excited to have this all year long and I think you will too!

Took this out of the box, plugged in and turned on. It worked. You have to love the simplicity in this complicated world. The “buttons” on the top are easy to understand and navigate. There is a small light in the front that goes from blue, green, yellow, orange and red. Blue means the air is excellent air quality while red is very polluted. Was pleased to see it was blue in my home. I’ll keep using the Blueair purifier to keep it that way! I find fans and air purifiers can be noisy. The Blueair Blue Pure model is pretty quiet. On the lowest and second lowest speeds I forget it’s on, it’s so quiet. At the third and fourth (highest) speeds you can hear it running but it is not annoying. I plan to keep this in my bedroom and run on the second or third speed. Like most items today there is an app. I was pleasantly surprised by the information available in the app. For example, it told me my fan speed was 70% (3rd speed choice). The app also provides information about the air quality outside. A filter status is displayed in the app so you can for filter replacements. Finally, you can schedule times for the Blueair to run, including fan speed. In addition to its being pretty quiet I like the aesthetics. It’s unobtrusive, so even though it’s in the room it’s not the center of attention. As it gets pretty warm where I live I appreciate the air being blown out of the unit is cool.
