I do think I notice a more improved air quality in our house, and it definitely kicks into higher gear when I turn on my EO diffuser( a bit counterproductive, but it is picking it up so that is a good sign). It is also very quiet. Overall a good purchase.

easy setup works well with no smart phone (my choice). runs quietly and adjust the filter level auto. easy to replace the filter cover and filter.

Had a 311 before for a few years and wanted a bigger unit. Tried this new 211i max out and so far it performs very well. Light smell at first but went away quickly.

This is probably the quietest air purifier I have ever owned. I could never turn my old air purifier on max and have it still be "quiet", but with this one, the max setting is probably just as loud as the medium setting on my old air purifier. I am also impressed with the air purification, I have noticed that there is less of a smell after having this run for a few days and the air is also less dusty. On the top is a large easy-to-read display with controls as well. My favorite way to control this air purifier is with the app which acts as the remote control.

I just bought the 211 Auto for our great room plus the 411 for our bedroom. I cough often most nights and my husband sneezes frequently throughout the day. We thought these symptoms were just allergies. This all stopped the day we received our purifiers and plugged them right in! For real! I have barely coughed a single night since then and my husband's sneezing had seriously diminished. The air purifiers are very, very quiet - almost silent. The slight sound from the one in my bedroom isn't at all annoying. It actually helps me fall asleep. The one in our great room, which encompasses the kitchen, dining and living room is large and heavy, but is not an eyesore. My husband actually built a little stand for it so it could sit up a bit higher. We are very pleased with our purchase and highly recommend Blueair itfor your indoor air purifying needs 100%!

This air purifier is awesomely effective! My sinuses could feel the change in the air within 20-30 minutes. I've been having problems with allergies since the smoke from the Canadian and Virginia forest fires, and this filter has made a huge difference. Definitely cleans the full area it claims to. I also got a smaller one for my bedroom that has made all the difference in sleep quality. It's also very quiet, with no mechanical or whooshing noise whatsoever. I leave it on around the clock. So happy I found this -- actually a friend found it for me who knows how to determine the best quality of anything mechanical or technological, and I'm so grateful! You can't go wrong with this!

Quiet, simple device that seems overpriced, but if it lasts, continuing to perform its job well and remains quiet, worth the price. This model has an app to allow you to check status.

Easy to setup and it looks great im the corner. I researched for hours and this is perfect.

I bought this to use in a smoker's house for an extended stay. The set up between the device and its app was a little confusing, but once it got connected, I really appreciated the reassurance from being able to monitor the air quality. The filter seemed to do a great job. If you know you're going to deal with unclean air, I suggest remote starting this via the app (the device must be plugged in). In an hour's time, the air will be much cleaner. It works well in small to large room (not over 250 ft approx), but will not cover an entire house.

I am very happy with this purchase. This air cleaner is Bluetooth friendly and that feature assist with it's usage without having to be close to the unit. The automatic setting works wonderful. If it detects an increase off dust it increases the fan speed. Super quiet on automatic and not very loud on maximum.

I purchased this unit because of the Consumer Reports review, which indicated that it was efficient and easy to use. I have a German Shepherd that sheds almost constantly, and for the first few days, I was shocked to see the amount of hair and dust that collected on the exterior washable pre-filter. The amount of collected hair has decreased, and so has the dust on the furniture. Since my dog hasn't stopped shedding, I can only conclude that what was initially collected is what we had been breathing before the air cleaner was purchased. The unit does not completely clean my house, but it is sooooooo much better than before. For the past month, it has worked just as advertised. Consumer Reports was right.

Would definitely get another one for the living room, currently have it in my kitchen so when i cook it dont smell at all and you can see it clean the air and smell it .. helps a lot with my newborn while im cooking no smoke and no harsh smell and the app is on point .. only thing bad i can say about it sometimes when the internet goes offline randomly the app/ air purifier glitches like it wont work while the light on the equipment is blinking but my internet is back up and running soo i just unplug it and replug issues resolved

I previously owned a dust magnet 5210i. So I am familiar with Blueaire products. This Blue Pure 211i Max is a huge step up... Setup was a snap. Downloaded the android app. Followed the instructions connected to Wifi and I was in and set up. Took all but 15 min max. I did have to disable my 5 GHz wifi because this only takes 2.5 GHz. New WiFi systems these days makes it easy to do that. After that I just set it to whatever setting and it ran. Metrics data on the app was good. PM 1, 2.5, and 10. This thing is SUPER quiet.... Which is awesome. The look is super slick... Nice gray and white color. The top buttons are also easy to use. You can set the LEDs down if you are going to use in your bedroom. Great filter in auto. It sensed that we were cooking something oily and it kicked into high and started to filter the oil out of the air. 2 cons: initial start up smell which went away 8n about 2 days. And you're not supposed to pick it up from the sides as it is a little weak on its sides and the fabric might get messed up. You're supposed to pick it up from the bottom. Other than that great filter. I would recommend it.

The Blueair air purifier works fantastic. Besides a slight hum you dont know thats its on. Would recommend it if you are wanting an air purifier
