Auto adjust fan based on air quality makes it super convenient and set n forget.

I have always wanted an air purifier but never really knew what to look for. I now have the Blueair Pure 311. This unit was super easy to set up. Basically just take it out of the box and plug it in. Press a button on top and you're good to go. There are 5 settings on it- auto, night, medium, high, and off. Night mode turns off the led indicator light. The indicator light lets you know how clean the air is. Blue light is clean, orange and red indicate it needs to do some cleaning. I keep this in my bedroom and run it at night. Since I have started using the blueair pure 311 my morning allergy issues have gone away. I live in a loft style apartment in and old mill building which can be pretty dusty. I typically wake up stuffy and my throat a little dry. I haven't experienced these symptoms since using this machine. Upkeep of this unit seems pretty simple. The instructions suggest changing the filter every 6 months. I haven't needed to change it yet but filters cost about $40 which I feel is more than fair considering what its doing. There is an indicator light that will show red when it's time to change the filter. Overall I am shocked at how quiet this air purifier is. It is so simple to use and I truly have felt a difference since using it. I need one for my basement next!
