Blueair Makes Clean Air - Quietly.

Love the "auto" mode which automatically senses when additional air cleaning is required and ramps itself up until air quality returns to previous clean level. My wife's only complaint is we have to turn it off when we sleep because the blue light is too bright. Some people may like it as a nightlight however.

Hard to tell if it's working
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought two of these during a heavy smoke period thanks to wildfires, but I'm honestly not sure how well they are working. Reviews from other sources have done more elaborate testing, but without an air sensor myself I have no way of really knowing if they are doing the job they are claiming to do. The speed options are also wildly differing. Low is incredibly quiet, barely moving any air at all. Medium is also incredibly quiet, moving more air but hardly noticeable. High, on the other end, takes things up 1000%. It's loud and moves plenty of air. The sensor on the front is supposed to indicate the quality of air in a room, but it almost seems placebo-like. If I place it in a room where it hasn't been working, almost like clockwork it will change from red to orange to blue over the course of 30 minutes, regardless of room size. I think they are working, but it's just so hard to tell.
