We live in an older apartment with questionable vents & purchased one to put in our son’s bedroom as he is prone to allergies. It seems to work well! The sound is like a light white noise and the light indicator is helpful in knowing that it’s working! I want to get one for our room too.

Excellent product, quiet but yet efficient would recommend

Purchased for my son’s bad allergies. It isn’t a miracle worker but it definitely helped a lot. If I had to purchase again I would definitely do it, so worth it. Considering getting a bigger one for the living area. As for his allergies, it made a noticeable difference, only issue now is we consider traveling with it

I bought three of these air purifiers and put them in different rooms. I was pleasantly surprised at how well they got rid of pet odor. I am planning on purchasing the larger unit for a bigger room.

Works well to clean air not so much for cigarette smoke. You will need a better air purifier for that.

Auto mode works well, very quiet on lowest setting.

I have never owned an air purifier and always have heard that it helps great with dust. Since the day we bought this is has not been off, dust is practically non-existent. Love how simple the look is and does a great job. Definitely recommend this to anyone trying to live dust free.

Item was as described. The sleeve that is also the filter is convenient and easy to change by throwing it in the washer and reusing. Only problem was that Best Buy doesn’t carry all the sleeve colors. It’s also adjustable and very quiet.

Bought as gift. Like that it’s HEPA. Nice size machine and will look good with room decor.

Small device that does not take up much space. Helps create good air flow in our master bedroom. Improved air quality.

On its lower settings, it moves so little air that it *seems* like it isn't doing anything. On its highest setting, it makes more noise than seems justified for the amount of air that is coming out. The only time I have seen its air quality indicator turn any color other than blue (clean) is when the machine is first turned on, apparently as a self-test. So does this thing actually do any good? Consumer Reports rated its big brother (the 211+, non-automatic) second from the top -- very highly. Separately, I purchased a cheap particle meter for my desk, which like the BlueAir device is also made of Chinese plastic. The readings on that meter generally go down when I turn the BlueAir device on. But who knows, really? Overall, I guess I'm sort of satisfied. But the price is high for what looks like a feeble, plastic fan mechanism sitting atop an unprotected filter (just pick it up below the white part, and you will bend the folds of the filter). And for a few more bucks, you can buy a real HEPA air purifier for a larger room.
