Blueair's new Auto models are a great value offering competitive performance with an integrated air quality sensor that can automatically adjust fan speed. My favorite part about the Blueair Pure Auto line is they are standalone and you do not need to connect the air purifier to the internet. I don’t feel the internet of things is necessary to have a quality product, so it is refreshing to still have improvements made to standalone models. The Auto feature works great and was able to detect a candle being blown out across the room, adjusting the fan speed accordingly. Under normal operation, the 411 is whisper quiet. Even under moderate load the fan is bearable, but when set to high the noise is distracting at 48dB. Fortunately, the unit won’t switch to high unless you set it there or your environment has particularly poor air quality. Blueair does have two larger models that are sized for spaces over 200 sqft, but the 411 seems to work well enough in my space. The 360 filter design is ideal, though it is a little top heavy due to the bulk of the weight at one end. The fabric pre-filter is removable for easy washing and can even be interchanged with other colors. There is also an area that folds over offering built in cord management, a nice touch. All together, this provides a flexible, clean look that works with your space and isn’t an eyesore. If you are looking for a small purifier for a space under 200 sqft, the 411 Auto is the perfect choice to blend in and not have to manually adjust the fan speed.

I've been using this for a few weeks now. I've really been patient while waiting for for this thing to give me a reason to take a star off of this rating. But it never did. I have suffered with sinus issues for a bit and it has been a horrible experience. I put this on the same wall as my bed and ever since I have noticed a sharp decline in build up in my sinuses when I wake up. It's very much been that simple. Unbox, plug it in, tap the center of the unit...and you are done. It is loud initially but it seems to be only because it is getting the air quality to an acceptable state. I very much thought there was a contributing factor to how much this has helped me. I gave it a while to see if there was some other contributing factor to why I was seeing such an improvement and I have come up empty handed. What I can say is this air purifier has been incredible. I even love the fan noise it provides when it needs to work a little harder than usual. It kind of doubles as a randomized fan noise you might use to help go to sleep to.

I live in an apartment and a smoker recently moved in next door. The smell of cigarettes was filling our apartment making my fiancé and I sick. We purchased this for our bedroom to test out the Blueair branded air purifiers. We are 100% satisfied. It's literally plug and play. Very easy setup. We leave it on the auto setting and it's extremely quiet when the light is blue (indicating low air pollution). We can't hear it at all when sleeping through the night (there is a dedicated night setting too). It's also not really that loud when on high either (which you don't really need it on most of the time). It's also done a great job filtering out the smoke smell and I feel like the air is genuinely cleaner in our bedroom now. We are saving up for the larger model for our living room now.

I have terrible allergy and sinus issues. I have wanted to try an air purifier for years now but just recently got around to buying one. I don't think I can live without one now. I chose this brand specifically because I just really liked the design and the colors of the pre-filter sleeves. That's probably silly, but I looked at a lot of other brands and they were all kind of ugly and boring looking, and would easily stick out and be an eyesore in my home. I didn't know anything about the brand but read a few reviews on this model and was sold! I could not be happier with it. I have owned it for about a month now and I can already see a buildup of animal fur and dust on the pre-filter. I keep it on the highest setting 24 hours a day. It's very quiet, virtually silent, on the low and medium settings, but the highest setting produces a low sound that is white noise to me, I can easily block it out. I keep it in my bedroom and have no trouble hearing the TV or sleeping due to the noise. It just sounds like a fan running, nothing major. It's very easy to use, you just push the button on top. The filters seem like they are easy to change out and are modestly priced. There is an air quality indicator light on the front - blue for good, clean air, orange for less clean air, red for polluted air. I don't smoke cigarettes but I do occasionally vape and once the vapor from that hits this purifier the light turns orange until the air is clean, then back to blue. I think that's so cool! There has been a noticeable improvement in my allergy and sinus issues since I have started using this air purifier. I sneeze less and have stuffy or runny nose issues less. I sleep so much better at night now that I can breathe through my nose properly. I am 100% in love with this air purifier. I have already raved about it to everyone I know and I recommend it to anyone reading this review. I am considering buying a big one, or a few more small ones like this for other areas of my home.

Quiet, simple, effective, the purifier just works. In terms of operation, I really like the large and flat pad on top that changes the settings with a simple tap from Auto all the way to Off. I never got the hang of the lights that come on in combination to let you know which mode you're in, but I like that they are subtle, and you just keep tapping until you hear what mode you're in by the sound of the fan. The shape, color and size of the unit make it really easy to fit into any decor. In terms of effectiveness, it has made a difference that I can feel in the bedroom. Very pleased with it. Would buy another one.

Quiet, well made. Very unobtrusive and attractive. Seems to do a good job of scrubbing the air in our bedroom. I like how easy it is to clean and the simple controls also.

Excellent purifier for the money! Has auto mode that will increase speed depending on the air quality. It has great range 191 sq feet which easily covers my bedroom and bathroom. Does an excellent job, I've noticed I'm sneezing less and my allergies aren't as bad. Added bonus, my wife isn't able to smell all the food orders when I cook. It's a great buy for the coverage and price.

We live in a 29ft trailer and keep the purifier on one end. We have three dogs and tend to keep a majority of the windows closed. After the first night we immediately saw a difference in air quality and the clean up / maintenance seems pretty easy due to the cloth covering. The noise is calming in my opinion, for some in might take some getting used to (i do have it at the highest).

I’m very impressed by this product. It’s ready to use right out of the box after a simple twist of the top portion to lock it in place. Really enjoy the Auto feature that takes care of keeping the air quality where it needs to be. The design is excellent and it’s very lightweight. Compared to a Honeywell HPA-100 that I had been using, the Blue 411 Auto is incredibly quieter and space efficient. Also the independent testing certification and Energy Star rating make this a great option for spaces up to 190sq ft.

Modern design looks great in my room. Cannot hear it at all. Air felt cleaner after first couple days of use. Easy set up.

I was cautiously hopeful that this purifier would alleviate my allergies caused by my dogs in the house and all over my furniture. Happy to report that it’s made a WORLD of difference. I mostly keep it on the auto mode and it automatically detects when it needs to work a little harder. I love the light that tells your the air quality in the room and it’s so quiet you can’t even tell it’s running. After a week of having it I’m already considering buying one for other rooms as well.

Love this!! Super quiet! I also love that I can change the color of the filter cover… Went from light pink for my daughter’s room to navy blue in mine!

Does exactly what I needed for a medium sized bedroom and adjacent bathroom. I can't even tell it is running except by holding my hand close to the exhaust at the top. Seems to have cleared up some minor eye irritation, which is why I bought it. It was also delivered quickly so 5 stars to Best Buy as well as the product.

Love the aesthetics of this and it’s ease of use. Most importantly, it does an amazing job of filtering the air. A noticeable difference in air quality - woke up breathing earlier after the first night with it. Love that the fabric outside acts as a prefilter to help extended inner filter life. Would absolutely recommend!

I like this purifier because it is very lightweight, and easy to operate. I also like the design and color of it, it blends in with my house easily.

Sleek and clean. The quietest purifier I’ve ever used. Easy to use as well. It sadly stays on “auto” mode for a little longer than you’d want it to when it detects polluted air. Definitely seems effective though in a bedroom space as far as purifying the air.

My Blue Pure 411 Auto works great. Made for smaller rooms this was the perfect size for my house. Looks stylish and appealing. Easy set up and operation. Working well, I notice less dust by a significant amount. The fan started making a bit of a noise, nothing major but that's why it's not 5 star.

My first air purifier and I will definitely purchase from this brand again! I have a small 11 x 12' apartment room and this fits perfectly in it. There are three settings. The lowest setting has ZERO noise (YES, ZERO) which is super nice because that's how it runs the whole day. Then it has a medium setting which is noticeable but fades in the background if you're focusing on something (think of white noise if you know what that is). The last setting is loud but it is quieter than your average hair dryer. But the purifier does it's job so well it only takes a few minutes. A cool feature I really like is the different color indicators it has to showcase the current air quality. (Blue is good, orange is okay, and red is bad) I'm definitely picking up another unit, or at least the bigger versions for my more open spaces. If you're on the fence about this product, get it!

Use this in a bedroom, nice compact and aesthetic design. Auto mode is really accurate and boosts the fan if cooking odor drifts to the room. At night the night mode is near silent. Like it so much bought more!!

Purchased as I experience intense seasonal allergies and it was affecting my daily life. I would wake up sneezing or all stuffed up. I purchased this purifier and put it in our bedroom and I have not woken up stuffed up since purchase was delivered two nights ago. The sleep mode has no light and it’s ultra quiet. My husband is sensitive to sound when sleeping, and he had no issue with it. If you have it on auto, it can speed up the fan if it finds pollutants/allergens to contend with and that gets louder. But regular mode and sleep are so quiet I had to check to see if it was on. I love the light indicating the quality of air (red, orange, blue). I have tried just allergy meds for year managing my symptoms. But the purifier removed the allergens completely, and my meds can support anything coming in from outside. It’s wonderful to breathe!
