I had to return this because it didn’t do anything to the dust

Finally can sleep at night without a congestion nose ,works wonders throughout the room filter fresh air back out .

Not pleased. If its not on high, it doesn't seem to do much. On high, its loud and only in the right spot will it absorb the dust as desired...who knows where the right spot could be. Smh

This is a nice compact filter for a single room use. There are many air purifiers on the market, but there are quite a few design choices that make this a bit better. For starters, the design is minimalistic and elegant. While it might be a little too large to look nice on top of an office desk, it can easily blend in to the background if needed. There is only one button to operate the filter, and the LED's on the unit are not bright and distracting. Another thing to note is that the filter is huge. At least 75% of the unit is the filter, and that is exactly what an air purifier should be. The purpose of an air purifier is to move air through a filter, so it goes without saying that a larger filter can capture more air movement. There are many filters on the market that incorporate a blower design that moves air in and out in one direction through a small filter. That just clogs up the filter faster and you end up washing/replacing the filter very often, not to mention it would not be filtering the air as efficient. The Blue Pure 411 takes in air from all directions and blows clean air out the top, so you don't have to worry about uneven air movement in the room. One negative that I have to point out is that I do not actually like the one button design. I find it cumbersome to have to press the button multiple times (and more if I miss) to get to the mode I want. Just to go from on to off requires 5 presses! There's not sleep functionality in the unit, so I don't see why they couldn't separate the button into at least 3 (speed up, down, on/off). In my opinion, any button that has more than 3 functions (single press, long press, double press) is a bad user experience. I am willing to overlook the one button design due to the fact that this air purifier does exactly what an air purifier should. It moves lots of air through a large filter, has a night mode that is near silent, and no distracting LEDs. Air purifiers should be effective yet simple to use, and this does that job.

There are a multitude of air purifiers today, but my biggest problem with the majority of them is how loud they can be which this air purifier definitely sets itself apart. Firstly, with air purifiers aesthetics are extremely important as the air purifier is going to be on full display either in a living area or bedroom for all to see as these purifiers are not small objects. With the Pure 411 auto, I really like the overall design as it seems to fit in with a variety of furniture and the fabric pre-filter allows the product to not appear as harsh as other purifiers that are all plastic and more rugged looking. Then the fact that additional pre-filters can be purchased in a variety of colors for only $10 is also a nice feature especially when they can just be thrown in the wash and do not require to be replaced regularly. I have this set up in a bedroom and I can definitely say that it has improved my sleep and that it actually does what it is advertised to do. I especially love the simplicity of it as it just has the one button to control everything based on how many times it was tapped. At first I thought this would be a hassle, but it actually has become extremely convenient. The indicator light of the air quality is one of those piece of mind items that is nice and not overly exaggerated as some purifiers have an entire display with a number range, which seems a little much in my opinion. Then as previously mentioned, as I have this in a bedroom my main concern was that it would not be too loud whilst sleeping to which I have not even had the slightest issue for either myself or my wife. Overall, with the simple modern aesthetics and the interchangeable pre-filters, the ease of use with the one-touch button, and the actual effectiveness I would definitely recommend this product for bedrooms or smaller rooms and in the future for the larger rooms in my house I will definitely be looking to get more Blueair products.

Keeps air fresh. Seems to help with dust in room. I sneeze less in the room.

Buy the bigger one! Wasn't impressed with the durability and effectiveness of this small one.

Purchased as a gift for my mom. It's been working really well for her. Easy to set-up and use. Cleaning is also simple.

Purchased this item and within days the fan started making a clicking noise while on the lowest speed. Would not recommend.
