It's keep the air at least seeming clean
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can say that this medium footprint - it's a bit larger than I would have expected considering it's a "small room device" - that it seems to work. I have not scientifically checked the air quality to see if it's better or not however since I installed it the air always seem to as least smell clean, it does keep out any lingering odors for the room. We use in in a 15 x 20 room and it work for that size - a little larger than stated. As far as set up. It's put the filter in - this is not quite as intuitive as their other models, that being said might actual help if you read the instructions :-), plug in in, turn it on and your basically done. Now for the hard part what setting to put it on. I have used the auto setting and it seems to work. I will give this unit kudos as it is extremely quiet. I have a older blueair for a few years back and they have made great strides in reducing the fan noise - for the most part I don't even know when this one is on unless I'm setting right beside it Overall impression is very good - if you looking for a small room air purifier this one would fit the bill
