Inconsistent build quality, but still works

The 2nd one was much less dense(like half), probably allows more air through, but I doubt the carbon is as effective. I give 3 stars because of the inconsistency in build of the filter. 2nd one is also much looser on the filter. 1st one hugged it nicely, 2nd one not at all.
