We've used this radio in our car for 3 years now, although it isn't the most expensive unit it gets the job done if your looking to add Bluetooth into a vehicle, the display works great and the instructions can easily guide you through setting up and tweaking the radio. The built in amplifier isn't the best but wired properly that shouldn't be an issue for most buyers.

Got this head unit for my brother to replace the worn out one in his subaru. He installed it himself and was very happy with the simplicity of the install and the quality of the sound. The price is a bargain but the quality is better than expected.

This radio is fantastic! It has great clarity, clear sound, I love everything about it. I recommend anyone that needs a single din to purchase this one you will be satisfied!

The stereo in my car when I bought it was missing its face plate. Since I had no idea if it worked, I decided to buy a new one rather than spend on a face plate for a stereo that might not even work. This one had everything I wanted at a price that I could afford. It sounds great! I have trouble hearing the lower registers and the bass is plenty loud enough for me to hear it well. It's easy to use (once I got used to it), easy to pair to my Bluetooth and gives a lot of bang for the buck. I haven't tried all of the features, yet. I'm looking forward to playing with it more! If I had to be picky, when the sun's shining in the car, the display is a little hard to read. That having been said, I don't need to be reading it when I'm driving, anyway. Over all, it's a great unit at a good price. It's great to have tunes in my car again!

OK, planning simple because when it comes to car stereos everybody’s different, everybody likes this or they like that or this one’s nicer, looking or blah blah blah ,,,, so to be completely honest, this is very nice stereo. It’s really cool because it has a nap that you can hook up to your phone and you can literally control it from the phone. It allows you to really get in there and set your levels to whatever you want do your whole custom EQ you can set the speakers at whatever volume or base or trouble level that you like and it’s pretty simple to use to be honest. Is it worth the money? Yes definitely are you getting a quality product? Yeah, you are just remember to get the warranty that extra Greek squad protection and me personally, I’ve always liked pioneers.

The Pioneer DEH-S4220BT is an awesome improvement over the stock radio in my van. I now have all the modern technology in my van. Bluetooth, auxiliary line in, and the ability to make and receive calls are great improvements. Easy to install. Great sound.

This is an quality radio with many useful functions. The learning curve is not long and the functions of the buttons do not overlap. I would recommend this radio to anyone who wanted a quality radio at a reasonable price.

It’s a good radio with some good options: Bluetooth pairing of your smartphone so no more audio cable, although it does have one jack just in case. It also has a usb charger port so you can use the cigarette lighter port for charging another phone. Two other settings besides the standard AM/FM and aux, which I have yet to use are the Spotify and Pandora modes. A lot more power than the one I had before, so the sound quality is nicer, cleaner.

Installed in a vintage vehicle with turquoise interior and the blue lighting looks great and the sound is pretty good, even though I put it in a car that's not a daily driver. It was easy to install and the price was fair for my needs

4v preamp outputs provide superior audio quality, Bluetooth works like a charm, easy to install and very user friendly. I highly recommend.

It sounds great! Clear and crisp. Though the only complaint i have is the menu options doea require a bit getting use to, but after about 1 week of fiddling is all good. I love that it has presets for eq. Makes it easier, plus a subwoofer gain in the settings.

Radio, CD, and USB sound fantastic; just haven't tried Bluetooth or Aux yet.

It's a decent radio, reasonably priced, and fit right into my Honda with no difficulty. The controls are a bit tricky, and the display is a little hard to see in daylight hours, but the sound is very good. I especially like the base boost feature.

I've been looking to upgrade my car stereo for awhile. I've seen some other Pioneers out there but did not like the red face plate color. The blue looks great. The dim setting can be adjusted for day and night. Sounds great and easy to navigate. Has a subwoofer level to help adjust the sound or to turn it off. Lots of EQ options. Really great radio for the price!
